Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) called for the major television networks to “not air” President Donald J. Trump’s primetime speech in which he’s expected to unveil evidence of fraud in the 2020 election.
Trump is set to speak at 9 pm ET on Thursday night, with him cryptically pledging to deliver “really big news” that reportedly will include declassified intelligence reports about foreign meddling in the “most secure election in history” in which decrepit Democrat Joe Biden received the most votes in the nation’s history.
“It will concern that subject, and we’ll have a couple of other things to say also,” the president said on Tuesday, referring to voting machines and election integrity.
But if Democrats like AOC get their way, tens of millions of Americans won’t get to see Trump present his case that the 2020 election was rigged, telling a reporter for the left-wing MeidasTouch that the networks have “an obligation” to censor the president of the United States of America on the topic.

“He’s basically doing a made-for-TV broadcast about election fraud and conspiracy theories and all the rest,” reporter Pablo Manríquez said about the speech after catching up with the socialist diva outside the Capitol, calling it a “rant to spew election conspiracy theories” and asking whether she believes that the networks have an “ethical obligation” to censor the speech.
“I don’t think we should be contributing to any platforming of, of, of lies about our elections, and so I think that you know, many of these, many news outlets may receive transcripts and I think that we have an ethical obligation to not to air things that undermine our elections that are not rooted in evidence and in fact,” Ocasio-Cortez answered.
“And so, you know, of course it depends on the contents of this speech, but that’s my take on it,” she added before walking off.
Trump hasn’t divulged the details of what the speech will focus on, but media reports have cited White House sources that it will be at least partly about “voting machine vulnerabilities,” with it coming less than four months before the midterm elections in which Democrats are hoping to retake control of at least the House of Representatives and immediately commence investigations into Trump and his administration.

“It’s really, really big news, and our country has to shape up,” Trump told reporters during a meeting with Iraq’s new Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi at the White House on Tuesday.
“It doesn’t get bigger, because without free and fair elections, you don’t have a country,” he added. “We’ll be discussing other things too, but it’s going to be a very big announcement.”
Trump’s address comes as House Republicans are making a big push to pass the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act (SAVE), which will be an impediment to Democrat election cheating.
