Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was called out after the anti-Israel “Squad” member shared a graphic image of dead “Palestinian” children, helping supporters of Hamas in their efforts to spread misinformation on social media.
Last weekend’s surprise attack on the Jewish nation by the Islamist savages who mercilessly slaughtered over 1,000 civilians including children shocked the civilized world and an onslaught of propaganda has been churned out to portray Israel’s military offensive to clear the terrorists out of Gaza as a violation of international law.
Omar and her fellow “Hamas caucus” Democrats have publicly taken sides against Israel and in the Somali-born Omar’s case, assisted in the dissemination of the type of agitprop that fuels the emotions of the Palestinian flag-waving leftist mobs that have taken to the streets both in the U.S. and abroad.
The Israel-hating congresswoman took to X, formerly known as Twitter, where she shared a picture of several dead children that a pro-Hamas activist had falsely claimed were victims of Israel’s “genocide” in Gaza, a horrific image but one of the victims of a 2013 incident involving chemical weapons in Syria.

Omar’s boosting of false information designed to portray Israel of being guilty of war crimes came after “Squad” leader Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a serial spreader of propaganda, took to X to warn about “misinformation” and in particular, pictures that could provoke an emotional response.
The level of misinformation in all directions at this moment is incredibly high, especially on this platform.
If you see a claim, photo, or video that triggers a strong emotional reaction, take a moment to pause and check for veracity/confirmation from multiple sources.

Both left-wing Democrats were blasted on the platform, including by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) which tweeted out both Omar’s false attribution and AOC’s hypocritical warning.
“You mean like this, @AOC? @IlhanMN is spreading dangerous misinformation, blaming Israel for killing kids who were killed by Assad in Syria 10 years ago. Once again, the Squad doesn’t let the facts get in the way of their anti-Israel narrative,” wrote the nation’s largest pro-Israel lobbying group.

Ocasio-Cortez, who just accused Israel of “ethnic cleansing” might as well be a Hamas spokesperson and on Saturday, the socialist diva accused the Jewish state of the crime of collective punishment over its efforts to eliminate the terrorist threat.
Humans can only survive without water for about 3 days. Gaza has run dry.
The blockade on water, food, and electricity is an indiscriminate, collective punishment and a crime.
It is cruel and unjust. To save millions of people in Gaza – nearly half children – it must end. Now. https://t.co/BLCRls2q1M

AOC and her “Squad” all called for an immediate “ceasefire” immediately after the cowardly attack of the terrorists and have made it clear whose side that they are on, and it’s not with the good guys.
