As a famous quote goes, “Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it,” and that could well be the case for the Democratic Party in 2028.
Even though the midterms are still almost nine months away, the jockeying to be the party’s presidential nominee has begun in earnest, with a woman who some have likened to a braying jackass looking to get an early pole position in what could be a crowded field.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) traveled across the pond where she tried to show off her foreign policy chops during a panel discussion at the Munich Security Conference but only showed that she is as much of an ignoramus about world affairs as she is at home, getting bogged down in her own mental diarrhea after being asked about what the U.S. response should be if China launched an invasion of Taiwan.
🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Rep. AOC just SELF-DESTRUCTED while trying to represent America in Germany
“Should the US commit troops to defend Taiwan?”
AOC: “Um, you know, I think that, uhh, eh, this is such a, uh, you know, I th-I think that this is a, umm, this is of course a, uh, a very… pic.twitter.com/VfT98vKhZY

“Umm, you know, I think that, uh…this is such a, a…you know, I think that…this is uh, umm — this is of course, uh, a very longstanding, ummm, policy of the United States,” she stammered, a rare occasion when the mouth that never shuts was at a loss for words.
“Uh…and I think that what we are hoping for is that we want to make sure we never get to that point, and we want to make sure we are moving in all of our economic, research, and our global positions to avoid any such confrontation and for that question to even arise,” she continued.
Shades of Kamala Harris!
AOC’s bumbling non-answer was ridiculed by X users, some of whom likened her to the former veep, a cackling hot mess whose incoherent answers made her into a national laughingstock.
AOC might be even worse than Kamala Harris when it comes to the word salads.
Watch this and see if you can tell what she’s trying to say. pic.twitter.com/bAle3tczzj

AOC is asked if the US should defend Taiwan in the event China invades. Her answer is a word salad disaster that would even make Kamala cringe: pic.twitter.com/jgfMWiSfmE

Well, well, well. 🙄AOC makes Kamala sound like a scholar in international affairs! 😳

AOC rarely leaves her adoration bubble.
This is what happens when she does.
That’s the reason I disagree with many pundits who talk about how formidable she is – she’s not ready for a POTUS run.
Imagine this happening daily. That would be her presidential campaign.

AOC dismally failed a simple foreign policy question in Munich
“Should the US commit troops to defend Taiwan?”
Both yes & no have decent arguments

🚨 Absolute TRAINWRECK
AOC gets asked a basic foreign policy question about defending Taiwan, and turns into a stuttering mess.
This is who sits in Congress? How does someone this unprepared hold federal office? America deserves better. pic.twitter.com/ArsHHNk01W

She cannot be allowed near the Oval.

The socialist diva who has been in Congress for seven years has offered little as far as actual accomplishments or significant legislation, but she has been a veritable social media gold mine, far better suited to be an influencer than an elected representative – and yet, she is being considered as a serious contender for the White House by many.
Things didn’t work out well for the Democrats the last time that they chose to run a ditzy woman of color for all the marbles. Could they possibly make the same mistake again?
