Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-New York, had a fascinating reaction to the idea of America’s “first gay president.”
Approached by TMZ, AOC donned a massive grin to answer their mostly goofy, innocuous questions. But it was her answer to one question in particular that caught the attention of X users, let’s see if you can guess which one.
Watch:
TMZ: “Are we going to have a female president first or a g*y president?”

“Hey, if you could click your fingers and Tucker Carlson was president, instead of Donald Trump, would you do it?” the interviewer asked, prompting an eye-roll from the progressive lawmaker.
“Uh, errr, I don’t know. I don’t think so, but I- it’s kind of a toss-up. I’m not really sure,” she responded.
“Okay, last thing then. What do you think we’re going to have first? Are we going to have a female president or a gay president?” the interviewer asked.
“Ohhh, well we don’t know if we’ve already had a gay president,” AOC said. “I think there are chances that maybe we have but I don’t know.”
“If you had to guess, what do you think we’ll have first because a lot of people are like ‘We tried female candidates a couple times in a row, they didn’t work out.’ So Democrats are now a little bit hesitant about doing it again,” the interviewer pressed, trying to nail down a real answer to the question.
“Honestly, I think anything can happen. I don’t really buy into the skepticism. A man has lost almost every presidential election as well so when it comes to women, I think it’s more about what we’re actually fighting for as opposed to the body that we’re in. And so I think it’s about not taking big money, fixing campaign finance reform, and trying to fight for people and raise wages and help people make a living,” she said. “If we have someone who fights for the right things and speaks to the right people then maybe we can overcome the gender gap and that, and be able to make history. But I think it’s really important that we’re able to talk in a way that really speaks to people’s hearts.”
One user pointed out that if this were the case, then it would mean “we could have already had a female president as well,” which would really take the wind out of the left’s gender politics sails.
Well then this means we could have already had a female president as well!

Others had their own answers for her “first gay president” theory:
Buchanan was g@y. Even had a “friend” love with him in wh. It wasn’t a secret.
