AOC is nothing if not a drama queen — which works out well for the “Kardashian in Congress,” as dubbed by Megyn Kelly — but you’d think that after all the experience she has playing the victim that she would be better at the game.
Still smarting after taking a drubbing for essentially condoning the targeting of Supreme Court Justices for harassment by mocking Justice Brett Kavanaugh for having his dinner interrupted by radical left pro-abortion activists, U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez apparently thought turn about was fair play. But the Democrat from New York is so bad at the game of politics she brought down yet another wave of ridicule that might convince some that she’s a certified clown.
It all began with a tweet after Kavanaugh was forced to leave a DC area restaurant through the back door as a liberal mob gathered outside, reportedly being tipped off by a member of the wait staff. The protest being just days after an armed man was arrested near the jurist’s home for trying to kill him.
“Poor guy. He left before his soufflé because he decided half the country should risk death if they have an ectopic pregnancy within the wrong state lines,” AOC tweeted, getting her information wrong about ectopic pregnancies. “It’s all very unfair to him. The least they could do is let him eat cake.”
When a role reversal was posed, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted: “Republicans love to ask ‘what would happen if the right-wing harassed someone in restaurant??’ as if they haven’t been doing that since Day 1. These are their own tweets from 2019! So the answer of what happens when it’s a Dem is: nothing. [N]0 sympathy for hypocritical whiners.”
She included a 2019 photo taken of her having lunch with her chief of staff at the time, as seen here:

Never mind that she is a public figure elected to office to represent others. Unfortunately for Ocasio-Cortez, the person who shared the photo, Caleb Hull, had some thoughts about how it was a far cry different from a rabid mob setting upon Kavanaugh while reminding folks of the hypocrisy on display in the photo.
“No one harassed you, @AOC. Someone took a picture from outside the restaurant window of your chief of staff eating a hamburger after you advocated for reducing hamburger intake because cows fart. You didn’t even know your picture was taken until after. Horrible comparison,” he tweeted.

Hull further explained how conservatives differ from liberals, before rubbing it in AND sharing this shattering revelation with Ocasio-Cortez: “I’m not going to date you.”
“The person who took the picture of AOC went out of their way to not even interfere with what AOC was doing and I went out of my way not to post the picture until after they were gone from the restaurant so she would not be harassed,” he added.

All of this comes after Ocasio-Cortez and fellow traveler U.S. Rep. Ted Lieu, D-Calif., sent a letter to perhaps the one DC lawmaker who still fears her, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., expressing concern about adhering to the rule of law and the legitimacy of the Supreme Court — keep in mind that AOC maligned the court’s legitimacy when she claimed that it “dramatically overreached its authority” when overturning Roe. The attention-loving duo called on Schumer, who still frets over a primary challenge from the upstart socialist bartender, to make clear whether or not Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch lied under oath during their confirmation hearings about their stance on the landmark abortion rights case.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
“They all want to date me.”

The real issue is the picture was taken before hair and make up could be done and sympathetic media outlets congregated for the photo-op.

She so wants to be a victim and also relevant.

She’s so dramatic

That was taking a picture. Not sending a mob out to harass someone who had their address leaked which lead to an assassination attempt. You’re the hypocrite, especially since you’re doing this to incite violence

Shes the @TaylorLorenz of congress. #dramaqueen
