Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-New York, joined a rally for NYC mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani and people can’t stop talking about it.
The socialists of the Democrat Party are rallying around Mamdani in hopes that a victory could push one of the largest blue states in the nation further to the left. This includes AOC and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, who joined him on stage to push his message and encourage voters to back the vision he has for New York City.

“Jews escaping Holocausts, black Americans fleeing slavery and Jim Crow, latinos seeking a better life, native people standing for themselves, Asian-Americans coming together in Queens, in Brooklyn, in the Bronx, in Manhattan, in Staten Island, in this country!” she shouted, bouncing with every word as if to emphasize everything she was saying.
