President Donald Trump’s latest use of federal immigration officers was seen by Steve Bannon as an effective “test run” on how similar efforts could be employed come November.

Amid the battle over the SAVE America Act and funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), there has been perhaps no prior time when Democrat opposition to America’s sovereignty has been clearer. So, while the left fights tooth and nail to safeguard the presence and suspected ongoing subversion of the republic at the hands of illegal aliens, Bannon looked ahead to the midterm elections and how U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents could be used at polling locations.
Monday during the morning edition of “War Room,” the onetime executive chairman of Breitbart News and former White House chief strategist turned to his guest to address the potential for federal enforcement.
“One question,” he said to Article III Project founder Mike Davis, before a lengthy interview could come to a close. “I want the mainstream media’s head to blow up today. We can use what’s happening with these ICE helping out at the airports. We can use this as a test run, as a test case to really perfect ICE’s involvement in the 2026 midterm elections, sir?”
To that, Davis agreed as he said, “Yeah, I think we should have ICE agents at the polling places because if you’re an illegal alien, you can’t vote, right? It’s against the law. It’s a federal crime for you to vote in federal elections. And so, if you’re an American citizen, you should be happy that ICE is there because you’re not gonna have illegal aliens canceling out the vote.”
The guest had also reminded during the interview how broad and bipartisan the support remains for voter ID laws, “This legislative package has 80% support of Americans, including a supermajority of Democrats and a supermajority of minorities, even. If you can’t get legislation through the Senate when it has that much popular support, you should not be in the Senate, right? You need to find a new line of work.”

Despite repeated examples of alleged election fraud, including an illegal alien believed to have voted in five presidential elections and supposedly NGO-backed ballot fraud on the streets of Los Angeles, Democrats held fast to their arguments that their is “no evidence” of “widespread” voter fraud.
Meanwhile, their cause to maintain the status quo was supported by feckless RINOs who would otherwise be able to pass the SAVE America Act with a simple rules change in the Senate.
Given that, the president’s early morning remarks targeted at the Democrats seemed just as applicable to some members of the GOP as he wrote on Truth Social, “Democrats are desperate to keep illegals, no matter how bad or dangerous they may be, in the Country. They want them to VOTE! That’s why they are fighting so hard to neutralize ICE. We will fight them all the way, and WIN!”
