Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders reveals ‘fastest way’ to get Trump to do something

A recent Supreme Court decision has revealed the “fastest way” to inspire President Donald Trump to do something.

While speaking with NewsNation’s Katie Pavlich, about the recent SCOTUS decision that effectively nuked Trump’s tariffs, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders pointed out that they have only motivated the president.

Watch:

“I think that the ruling is not only disappointing, I think it’s wrong,” she said. “I think Justice [Clarence] Thomas was exactly right. The Constitution grants the president this authority. ‘But ultimately, I don’t think it matters. One of the things I love about Donald Trump is that the fastest way to get him to do something is to tell him that he can’t. And he has so many tools in his toolbox and ultimately, he’s going to make sure that we’re bringing back American manufacturing, that we’re supporting the American worker, and he’s going to use whatever tool and resource he needs to, to get that job done.”

“While this may take over the news cycle for a few days, I don’t think this changes what the outcome looks like and that this is a president who’s going to continue to hold other countries feet to the fire. He’s going to make sure that American workers are put first,” Huckabee Sanders added.

President Trump responded to the ruling, accusing the court of being “swayed” by “real slime balls.”

“It’s my opinion that the court has been swayed by foreign interests and a political movement that is far smaller than people would ever think,” he said. “It’s a small movement. I won by millions of votes. We won in a landslide. With all the cheating that went on — there was a lot of it — we still won in a landslide. Too big to rig. But these people are obnoxious, ignorant, and loud, they’re very loud. And I think certain justices are afraid of that. They don’t want to do the right thing.”

He addressed the ruling following his prepared remarks as well.

“Well, I think that foreign interests are represented by people that I believe have undue influence,” he responded. “They have a lot of influence over the Supreme Court, whether it’s through fear, or respect, or friendships — I don’t know. But I know some of the people that were involved on the other side, and I don’t like ’em. I think they’re real slime balls.”
