Arrests made as leftist mob descends on the White House demanding Israel ceasefire

Dozens of people were reportedly arrested as protesters descended on the White House where they demanded a ceasefire in Israel’s war with Hamas on Monday.

A mob of left-wing demonstrators turned out to pressure President Joe Biden to intervene in Israel’s efforts to defend itself by cleaning terrorists out of densely populated Gaza after over 1,300 of its citizens were slaughtered by Islamist savages in a sneak attack that shocked the civilized world.

The protest which was organized by the IfNotNow Movement and Jewish Voice for Peace came on the same day that a group of far-left Democrat lawmakers introduced legislation demanding that the Biden administration use its muscle to get Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to call off the war on the Palestinian terrorist organization.

The number of protesters arrested is unclear but Axios reported that “USSS officers arrested 49 protesters at the demonstration for allegedly crossing safety barriers or blocking entrances during the demonstration at the White House complex, per a statement from Special Agent Steve Kopek, an agency spokesperson, on Monday night.”

Protests against Israel’s response have taken place in multiple U.S. cities since the commencement of Operation Iron Swords with Hamas’ propaganda being spread on social media and parroted by the mainstream press to create a narrative of Israeli war crimes and the “genocide” of Palestinians, another term that has been hijacked by the political left and often used to promote opposition to its transformational agenda.

The organized left is dialing up the pressure on Biden who will be traveling to Tel Aviv Wednesday for a high-stakes visit as the cries of outrage from his anti-Israel base for him to intervene to stop the eradication of Hamas reach a deafening pitch.

Leading the way in Congress were Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) and her fellow “Squad” members who on Monday introduced a resolution calling for the Biden administration to

“Whereas all human life is precious, and the targeting of civilians, no matter their faith or ethnicity, is a violation of international humanitarian law,” the resolution states.

The resolution also “urges the Biden administration to immediately call for and facilitate deescalation and a cease-fire to urgently end the current violence,” and to “promptly send and facilitate the entry of humanitarian assistance into Gaza.”

Monday’s protests came two days after thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators turned out in the nation’s capital to demand an end to Israel’s response to the butchery of its citizens.
