Minnesota Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan is being dubbed “Elizabeth Warren II” over claims that she is “trying to push this business that she’s a Native American.”
That’s according to Fox Business host Larry Kudlow, who referenced the Democrat’s heritage while interviewing Michele Tafoya, the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate — Flanagan is the Democratic nominee in the race.
“Now, I’m told she is trying to push this business she’s a Native American, alright? This is like Elizabeth Warren II or something,” Kudlow said. “She’s a Native American, and she’s really fighting for her Indian rights. This is a cover-up so she doesn’t have to talk about all her socialist nostrums that you are describing.”
Kudlow would go on to describe Flanagan as “the darling of the democratic socialists, of the Bernie Sanders and the AOCs, what they stand for, huge taxing on wealth and income, Medicare for all, which basically means they want the government to run everything in the economy.”
Turns out, Flanagan’s father was a member of the White Earth Anishinabeg Ojibway Nation.
Of which, Fox News reported on Flanagan dissing Warren, who has made claims of native American heritage in the past, by claiming there are currently “no Native voices” in the Senate.
“Arrows fired,” the network quoted one response.

Not only is Flanagan apparently a native American, she fully accepts the role of victim.
“We’ve got a really incredible state — if you’re white,” she said in a 2020 NPR interview. “If you’re a person of color, if you are indigenous, if you are an immigrant or refugee, the opposite is true — As a Native American woman, it is not lost upon me, I work in a system that was created to erase me.”
As for Tafoya, she is working hard to keep the focus on policies that impact residents in her state:
