One of the Artemis II astronauts shared a tear-jerking moment after she returned to Earth from her historic flight.
Christina Koch, 47, just made history by being one of the only people to travel around the moon, and when she and her three male colleagues touched back down, they received a hero’s welcome. But there was one girl who missed her more than most, and cameras caught the heartwarming reunion between Koch and her dog, Sadie.

Sadie was so happy to see Koch that she immediately launched into the zoomies, running in and out of the house, even grabbing a toy at one point before running back outside.
The video is tugging at the heartstrings of X users:
“Omg I gotta grab something!” So cute

My mom’s dog would absolutely go ballistic with excitement when I would visit, & they’d pump him up by saying my name
As he grew older we were worried he’d hurt himself or get his 💜 overexcited, but he was determined & made my grandparents laugh too
