At-large suspect drives stolen ambulance loaded with gas cans into DHS office

The left’s unhinged response to the enforcement of U.S. immigration laws is reaching untenable levels, with growing attacks and violence against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.

At the center of a campaign that can only be described as domestic terrorism is inflammatory rhetoric coming from Democratic politicians, who liken federal agents to Nazis and members of the Gestapo while twisting their actions to feign wrongdoing — a direct indication of how damaging the deportation of illegal immigrants is to the party.

All of which culminated in a troubling incident this week in Idaho, where a still-at-large suspect allegedly stole an ambulance from a local hospital bay, loaded up staged cans of gas, and drove the vehicle into a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) office.

Police believe the attack was an attempted arson attack, explaining that the lunatic was unable to ignite the accelerant before being scared off by responding agencies.

“We want to emphasize that this was a serious criminal act. The theft and destruction of an emergency vehicle not only created a risk to responding personnel, but it also temporarily removed a critical medical resource from the community,” Meridian Police Chief Tracy Basterrechea said.

“Comments on social media, such as ‘property damage isn’t violence,’ is absolutely false,” Basterrechea continued. “This was absolutely an act of violence, and if the suspect had not been interrupted, there is no doubt this building would have been burned, putting the lives of first responders and others at risk.”

The attempted terrorist attack reportedly came after anti-ICE leftists issued a “call to action” against the location after office space was leased to DHS.

Here’s a sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X, including a photo purported to be the office space that was rammed:
