Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s innovative relocation program of sending busloads of newly arrived migrants to Democrat-controlled sanctuary cities was a genius move, earning praise from the most unlikely of sources.
The former Obama White House adviser appeared on CNN’s “Inside Politics” where he and Dana Bash discussed the backlash against President Joe Biden over his immigration policies as blue cities have discovered that all of that open borders virtue signaling goes out the window when their cities are being overrun by impoverished foreigners, pressure that they claim is forcing the geriatric Democrat to shift his approach.

Offering up her observation that even Democrat voters are now “taking a hard line” on illegal immigration, Bash pumped up Biden as moving to secure the border as the White House has been working with members of the Senate on their pig-in-a-poke “border security” bill.
“Two points on this,” Axelrod responded. “You know, whatever you think about what Governor Abbott has done, it was diabolically clever, because by shipping these migrants to cities that call themselves… uh…uh..now I’m forgetting the phrase…
“Sanctuary cities,” Bash offered, giving Axe the phrase that he was seemingly stuck on, one that has now become a dirty word to Democrat voters in many locales.
“Sanctuary cities,” Axelrod resumed his thoughts, “He has created an issue…I come from Chicago. Chicago has been torn apart by this issue. New York has been torn apart by this issue, and suddenly, Democrats are engaged in this issue in a different way than they had been. So, that has been very effective.”
But as the best propaganda is a mixture of truth and lies, the “Obama whisperer” blamed the border fiasco on former President Donald J. Trump with the bogus narrative being that he’s trying to sink the Senate’s Ukraine giveaway bill with a few sweeteners on the border to undermine Biden in an election year,
“I think that the President has responded by engaging in these very difficult negotiations, agreeing to some of the most dramatic measures to deal with the border that we’ve seen in a very long time,” he continued. “And now, what we see is Donald Trump telling his people, don’t agree to that. I don’t want Biden’s name on the bottom of that bill. That…that will help him, and so, that gives the White House an offensive position, which is, we’re here to try and solve a problem. He wants to exploit it. He wants to weaponize the problem. We don’t have ten months to wait to deal with this problem. I think it’s an effective counterpoint.”
A new CNN poll shows that Biden is in deep trouble on illegal immigration so of course the White House and its lickspittles in the crooked media would gaslight Americans into pinning the blame on Trump.

“A whopping 70 percent disapprove of how Biden is dealing with immigration with a mere 30 percent approving, making the border a major problem for the geriatric career politician with it being Trump’s strength, especially when he is running on the largest deportation program the country has ever seen.
According to CNN, “Biden’s lowest issue approval rating in the poll comes on his handling of immigration, with just 30% of Americans approving. That number reflects heightened concerns about the state of affairs at the US-Mexico border. Asked whether or not the current situation at the border is a crisis, 79% of Americans – including majorities across party lines – say that it is, matching the elevated level of concern last seen in April 2021.”
