Barack Obama has nothing to say when asked if wife Michelle O is running for president

Barack Obama was spotted leaving a Beverly Hills restaurant over the weekend and he had nothing to say when a member of the paparazzi asked about rumors of his wife, former first lady Michelle Obama running for president.

“Barack, is Michelle running for president,” someone called out as the former president exited Funke, a restaurant on South Santa Monica Boulevard.

There was no immediate response to the question. Obama, who was casually dressed in a slick black blazer, open-collar shirt and gray trousers, did say something inaudible shortly thereafter.

Recent polling has shown that even a majority of Democrat voters believe that 80-year-old President Biden is too old to hold office another four years, and there has been plenty of chatter about the feeble, geriatric president being replaced at some point. California Gov. Gavin Newson and Michelle Obama are frequently mentioned as possible replacements.

Interestingly, while Barack dines in Beverly Hills, his wife is off on an A-list vacation on the Italian Riviera with the likes of Steven Spielberg, his wife Kate Capshaw, Tom Hanks, and his wife Rita Wilson. Mrs. Obama was photographed snorkeling with her celebrity pals and exiting Spielberg’s $250 million superyacht near Portofino, Italy.

As for the rumors, Mrs. Obama has previously stated that she has no interest in running for office, but in today’s political landscape that’s little more than a placeholder.

Sen. Ted Cruz predicted a last-minute scenario involving Michelle Obama last month on his “Verdict with Ted Cruz” podcast.

“Here’s the scenario that I think is perhaps most likely, and most dangerous,” Cruz said. “In August of 2024, the Democrat kingmakers jettison Joe Biden and parachute in Michelle Obama. I view this as a very serious danger.”

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin also predicted that Biden will ultimately be “out,” and that Michelle Obama will be tapped as the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee.

Never mind that the former first lady has no qualifications whatsoever to hold office. Should she run, the media’s slobbering love affair with her would all but assure her success and Americans have long since proven that the cult of personality reigns supreme when it comes to choosing people to control their lives.
