Barron Trump, 17, blows up on social media over appearance at grandma’s funeral

Republican frontrunner Donald J. Trump’s 17-year-old son Barron joined his parents at the funeral for Melania Trump’s mother and blew up on social media after pictures of the somber occasion circulated.

Standing 6 feet, 7 inches, the young man towered over his father as the former president and first lady joined mourners at the Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Fl., who paid their last respects to Amalija Knavs who passed away at 78 years old this month.

The young Trump’s rare public appearance at the funeral drew a huge response from users on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

The respectful, well-mannered Barron drew a stark contrast with presidential son Hunter Biden. The vulgar ex-crackhead and sexual degenerate is at the center of his family’s web of corruption, including his dad’s alleged foreign influence-peddling schemes.

Others see big things in Barron Trump’s future.

“I think most importantly, I want to thank my incredible wife, first lady, I’ll say former and maybe future, but more important than Melania, I want to thank her incredible, beautiful mother who passed away a few days ago,” the elder Trump said in a speech after his big win in the Iowa caucuses this week.

“And she’s up there, way up there. She’s looking down and she’s so proud of us. And I just want to say to  Amalija, you are special, one of the most special people I’ve ever known. And that was a tough period of time for the family. But she’s amazing. She was amazing. So I just want to thank what she’s done for our family and her husband,” he added.

Trump also spoke of Amalija Knavs’ impact on his son.

“Boy, did she take care of Barron,” he said. “That’s how he got so tall. He only ate her food.”
