Bartiromo: White House, media using Russian ‘coup attempt’ to push Biden bribery scandal off front page

President Joe Biden’s water carriers in the media have greatly benefited from two stories that have provided them with a smokescreen during a week when the alleged crimes of himself and his family are beginning to seep out like water through cracks in a dam.

After days of milking the coverage of the futile search for the Titanic sub which allowed the news that Hunter Biden had been let off with a slap on the wrist from the Justice Department, news of what has the appearance of extortion of a foreign national of the presidential son and his father was drowned out by Russia, Russia, Russia and the coup d’etat against Vladimir Putin that wasn’t and Maria Bartiromo is very frustrated about the media’s dereliction of duty in not covering a massive domestic political corruption scandal.

The Fox News anchor appeared on “Fox & Friends Sunday” where the crew was discussing the disparity in sentencing between rapper Kodak Black who was charged with the same federal gun crime as Hunter Biden but was thrown in jail for three years for not having Democrat privilege, and while running down the latest developments that seem to show that racketeering is all in the family for the Bidens, Bartiromo expressed frustration at the media’s Russia coverage that has allowed the Biden clan’s alleged misdeeds to be ignored for a second consecutive weekend.

Asked by Fox’s Pete Hegseth for her opinion on when the explosive story of the WhatsApp messages seemingly implicating the president in Hunter Biden’s shakedown of a Chinese communist official, Bartiromo said, “Well, the White House wanted to give the media something else to cover, and this is the MO.”

“This is exactly the way they do things,” she said of the regime’s shaping of the media narrative. “In fact, on Friday, I said, wow, what a blockbuster; what’s that message? I’m sure there will be an enormous story over the weekend that the White House is gonna be pushing to take this story off of the front page, and sure enough, we’ve got the State Department drumming up all the drama that took place over the weekend in Russia.”

“So I don’t know if it’s gonna break through,” Bartiromo added. “The mainstream media has an excuse again not to cover it. They’re covering everything about Russia and the Wagner Group. As if it really matters to the U.S. right now.”

As for the toppling of Putin that never materialized, as novelist Charles Dickens once famously wrote, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,” with both taking place within the same 24 hours with the regime’s army of propagandists going all-in on Yevgeny Prigozhin, the renegade head of the mercenary Wagner Group’s march to Moscow to kick the hated Russkie leader out of the Kremlin, only to see it fizzle when “Putin’s chef” inexplicably halted the advance and fled the country.

Despite the disappointment of the coup that fizzled, the regime was out on Sunday morning television selling Russia, Russia, Russia even as Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) has tweeted that Biden has now lawyered up, a significant development that will likely be drowned out by media noise.
