Jet-setting U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders is being called out for his hypocritical fight against billionaire oligarchs.
The Independent Vermont senator has been criticized for his tour against the “oligarchy” along with sidekick Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Recent reports have called attention to the cost of private flights to get the duo to stops on the “Fighting Oligarchy” tour.
Bernie likes to preach about carbon footprints and climate change too, yet he travels by private plane consistently He did yesterday with that other hypocrite, AOC.

“Sanders’ campaign committee, Friends of Bernie Sanders, spent over $221,000 chartering private jets during the first quarter of 2025, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings reviewed by Fox News Digital,” Fox News reported, adding that Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez “chartered a private jet worth up to a staggering $15,000 an hour for several West Coast stops on their ‘Fighting Oligarchy’ tour.”
Sanders is also being called out for ranting against billionaires now and seeming to drop his criticism of millionaires since the publication of his best-selling books.
Bernie Sanders used to rail against millionaires. Then he became a millionaire by writing an anti-capitalist book and stopped talking about millionaires. pic.twitter.com/Kfu3hjS9h2

The glaring change in the socialist senator’s rhetoric got the attention of social media users who had plenty of questions on X.
So now it’s okay for millionaires to buy elections?
