Democrats and their fellow left-wingers are in panic mode over the long-overdue pushback against the transgender agenda, particularly “gender-affirming” surgery for children, a practice that has resulted in state legislatures moving to pass laws to ban the controversial but lucrative medical procedures, and President Joe Biden could soon be moving to counter such moves at the federal level.
In remarks made during an interview with Kal Penn of “The Daily Show,” the culture warrior-in-chief took aim at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a rising GOP rock star who many believe would be his most formidable rival for another term in office if the Sunshine State Republican wins the party’s 2024 nomination.
Under DeSantis, Florida has led the way in rolling back advances by the “woke” left and its cultural revolution, particularly in schools where kids have been subjected to racist anti-white, Critical Race Theory brainwashing by radical ideologues and have had their young minds seeded with smut and filth from perverts and groomers who had previously operated with impunity within the educational system.
The state is also one that has moved to prohibit the sexual mutilation of kids as well as banning puberty-blocking drugs and other hormone therapy, a major threat to the left’s unofficial religion of transgenderism which most people didn’t have much of a problem with until it became evident that children were being targeted for assimilation.
“What’s going on in Florida is, as my mother would say, close to sinful,” Biden said. “I mean, it’s just terrible what they’re doing.”

“It’s not like, you know, a kid wakes up one morning and says ‘you know, I decided I want to become a man or I want to become a woman, or I want to change,’” he continued. “
“I mean, what are they thinking about here?” Biden asked as the camera cut to a nodding Penn who is gay. “They’re human beings.”
“They love, they have feelings, they have inclinations that are, I mean, it just to me is, I don’t know, it’s cruel,” he added, laying it on thick.
“And the way we do it is we make sure we pass legislation like we passed on same-sex marriage and you mess with that, you’re breaking the law, and you’re going to be held accountable,” he said, a shot across the bow at DeSantis.
With the GOP now in control of the House of Representatives and the issue of sex change surgery for kids being a contentious one, any such “legislation” could possibly come in the form of one of the dictatorial executive orders that the deeply unpopular authoritarian leader has used to bypass Congress since he took office.
Biden also spun a yarn of how his beloved father was instrumental in his acceptance of open homosexuality.
“I can remember exactly when my epiphany was,” the octogenarian leader recalled when, as a high school senior, he witnessed “two well-dressed men in suits” kissing after he was dropped off by his dad.
“I’ll never forget, I turn and looked at my dad. He said, ‘Joey, it’s simple. They love each other. ”
“It’s just that simple. It doesn’t matter whether it’s same-sex or a heterosexual couple, you should be able to be married. What is the problem?” Biden told the former actor who starred in “Harold & Kumar go to White Castle” before going on to become Barack Obama’s associate director of public engagement.
Democrats are prepared to fight tooth, fang and claw to reject parental rights laws at the state level and Biden’s comments are an indication that he will be leading the way in what is shaping up to be a very nasty battle.
