Biden conjures MORE spirits, tells donors he met with dead German chancellor this time

President Joe Biden told donors that he discussed the so-called “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol with German Chancellor Helmut Kohl in 2021, four years after the European leader had died.

Days after it was reported that the geriatric Democrat said that he had recently met with French President Francois Mitterrand who was also dead at the time, Biden regaled the high rollers with his tale about his conversation with Kohl who passed away in 2017, another example of his deteriorating mental faculties.

Biden’s gaffe took place at a campaign event in New York City on Wednesday where he was spinning a yarn about his first G7 meeting as president which took place in London and he mixed up Kohl with then-German Chancellor Angela Merkel, a flub that doesn’t exactly instill confidence in the 81-year-old’s ability to serve another four years if reelected.

“Helmut Kohl said, ‘Joe, what would you think if you picked up the phone and picked up the paper tomorrow and learned in the London Times, on the front page, that 1,000 people stormed the Parliament, broke down the doors of the House of Commons and killed 2 bobbies in the process … trying to stop the election of a prime minister?’” Biden told the crowd.

“About 50 guests, including actor Robert De Niro, were witness to the gaffe,” the New York Post reported of the event which was attended by the other foul-mouthed fake tough guy geezer who hates Trump.

In telling a tale of another conversation that he’d be hard-pressed to have without a Ouija board, Biden said that he had met with Mitterrand who has been dead for nearly three decades at G7 during a speech in Las Vegas over the weekend.

“And Mitterand from Germany — I mean, from France — looked at me and said…’You know, what… why… how long you back for?” he said. “And I looked at him and…the Chancellor of Germany said, ‘What would you say, Mr. President, if you picked up the paper tomorrow in the London Times, and London Times said, ‘A thousand people break through the House of Commons, break down the doors, two Bobbies are killed in order to stop the election of the Prime Minister.’ What would you say?’”

Biden clearly meant to say that he had spoken with current French leader Emmanuel Macron who was in attendance at G7 but it was yet another unforced error that his critics will pounce on.

In 2022, while speaking at a White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, Biden gave a shout out to Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN) who was killed in a car accident months earlier.

… Jackie, Jackie are you here?” Biden said, scanning the crowd for the deceased lawmaker. “I think she was going to be here to help make this a reality… she must not be here.”

Biden’s near-daily mental misfires are only reinforcing the perception among voters that he’s not here either.
