Biden finally makes plans official in crack of dawn announcement

As reported last week, President Joe Biden let the cat out of the bag Tuesday when he made it official that he’s running for reelection – he’d be 86 at the end of a second term.

Wasting no time, the 80-year-old president released a 3-minute campaign video on social media at the crack of dawn — 6 a.m. to be exact, and the video opens with footage of the Jan. 6, 2021 protest at the U.S. Capital that got out of hand when Capital Police failed to adequately protect the seat of government.

“Every generation has a moment where they have had to stand up for democracy. To stand up for their fundamental freedoms. I believe this is ours. That’s why I’m running for reelection as President of the United States. Join us. Let’s finish the job,” the caption stated.

The video seems to put to rest any talk about Biden going with a different running mate, as he is pictured alongside Vice President Kamala Harris and despite a track record of forcing his policies on the American people, the president launched into a hearty pitch for “freedom” — then again, truth has little to do with Democratic politics today with the party fully controlling the narrative via their media allies.

Viewers get reintroduced to Unity Joe as if the past 2 years of Biden demonizing millions of Republican voters who support Donald Trump as a “danger” to the country never happened.

Tuesday’s announcement comes on the four-year anniversary of Biden declaring his 2020 White House bid, promising to heal the “soul of the nation.”

“I said we are in a battle for the soul of America, and we still are,” the feeble commander-in-chief said. “The question we are facing is whether in the years ahead we have more freedom or less freedom. More rights or fewer.”

It’s clear in the ad that Biden expects to face Donald Trump and his MAGA Army and that access to abortion will be a major issue. The video dishonestly implies that Republicans will cut Social Security, limit voting rights and ban books, but focuses little on what Biden got done in his first term.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story as seen on Twitter:
