Biden FINALLY visits Maui, likens deadly inferno to small fire in his home kitchen

President Joe Biden finally visited Maui, taking a break from his latest vacation to tour areas affected by devastating wildfires which he likened to a small kitchen fire at his Delaware home, insensitive remarks that sparked outrage.

On Monday, the octogenarian Democrat and first lady Jill Biden joined local officials to survey the damage on the Hawaiian island where hundreds of people still remain unaccounted for, two weeks after the catastrophic blaze that left the city of Lahaina in charred ruins.

“I don’t want to compare difficulties, but we have a little sense, Jill and I, what it’s like to lose a home. Years ago — now 15 years ago — I was in Washington doing ‘Meet the Press.’ It was a sunny Sunday, and lightning struck at home on a little lake that’s outside of our home — not a lake, a big pond — and hit a wire and came up underneath our home into the heating ducts — the air conditioning ducts,” Biden told a crowd at the Lahaina Civic Center.

“To make a long story short, I almost lost my wife, my ‘67 Corvette, and my cat. But all kidding aside, I watched the firefighters, the way they responded,” he said.

Biden was retelling an embellished tale about a 2004 fire at his residence that was fact-checked by Glenn Kessler of the Washington Post after he told it during a 2021 speech in New Hampshire, tweeting out an AP story on the “small fire that was contained to the kitchen,” hardly the roaring inferno that the serial fabricator-in-chief described it as.

Biden didn’t make matters any better with another insensitive remark about the “hot ground” as he yukked it up during his tour of the devastated area.

Twitter/X users roasted the geriatric career politician over his tone-deaf remarks to people who have lost everything.

Biden received a rude welcome from Maui residents who lost homes, businesses, family members, and friends in the raging inferno with some shouting “F**k you!” and waving extended middle fingers at the president’s motorcade as it rolled by in video posted to social media, an angry response to his callous “no comment” remark to questions about the catastrophe.

**WARNING: Language**

The Maui wildfires were the most deadly blazes to hit America in over a century and have claimed the lives of at least 115 people with close to 850 still missing as rescue teams with cadaver dogs continue to search for additional victims. Biden interrupted his vacation at the Lake Tahoe home of billionaire climate alarmist Tom Steyer to pay his belated visit to the island.
