Biden free to travel after Covid isolation – goes right to beach house

President Joe Biden almost went an entire three weeks without escaping to his beach vacation home in Delaware, with the fact that this was noteworthy pretty much summing up his entire presidency.

Of course, it wasn’t by choice. The feeble 79-year-old president first tested positive for Covid-19 on July 21, despite being twice vaccinated and twice boosted. Biden went into isolation and was prescribed Paxlovid, which was developed by Pfizer. After days of testing negative, he tested positive again on July 30 and reentered isolation — this being characterized as a “rebound” infection, which is common when taking the antiviral medicine recommended for early treatment by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

White House physician Kevin O’Connor announced in a letter Sunday that Biden had tested negative for Covid-19 for the second day in a row and would “safely return to public engagement and presidential travel.”

So, when finally free to leave the White House where do you suppose Biden’s “presidential travel” would take him first?

“Joe Biden finally breaks free from coronavirus isolation for a Sunday trip to Delaware since first testing positive on July 21. This is one of the longest periods of time he has remained at the White House without a weekend in Delaware,” tweeted Breitbart News White House correspondent Charlie Spiering.

The accompanying photo surely left many Americans with the nagging thought of having been played.

Looking like a kid excited to be getting out of school for the summer, Biden can be seen in the video below exiting the White House and boarding Marine One — albeit weakly, as his first step was clearly laborious.

“I’m feeling great,” he told reporters before departing.

So, after nearly three weeks of limited activity, a little R&R at the beach is just what the doctor ordered — we assume.
