Biden just gave Nancy Pelosi a new role

Former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been given a new role by President Joe Biden’s administration, a move that seems prompted by campaign promises being made by former President Donald Trump.

The Biden administration has decided to bring in Pelosi in what seems to be the California Democrat’s first serious role since she stopped being House Speaker. Biden’s re-election campaign reportedly tapped Pelosi in an effort to combat threats being made by Trump to take on and replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA), commonly referred to as Obamacare.

“Tuesday’s push, a Pelosi call with reporters and campaign staff, highlights a new Biden campaign strategy, dubbed ‘Trump’s America in 2025,’ which plans to highlight what Democrats think the Republican former president will do in office if elected, as well as his multiple legal troubles,” Reuters reported.

“The Biden campaign will broadcast Trump’s threat against the law with new advertising in battleground states, and contrast Biden’s efforts to lower drug costs,” the outlet added.

Trump ripped into the health care policy on his Truth Social platform, calling it “out of control” and “not good Healthcare.”

“I’m seriously looking for alternatives,” he added, sending Democrats into high gear to attack him on social media.

Trump doubled down in another post, explaining, “I don’t want to terminate Obamacare, I want to REPLACE IT with MUCH BETTER HEALTHCARE. Obamacare Sucks!!!!”

Pelosi came out armed with Democrat rhetoric and warned that “the Affordable Care Act and all its transformational benefits will be on the ballot” in 2024.

“The American people will need to know that if Donald Trump wins next year, he’s coming for your health care,” she said.

“There are so many reasons why this was a bad political move on the part of Trump, except he doesn’t share the value of the health and financial well-being of the American people,” Pelosi said on a call with reporters. “And for that reason, he has offered an opportunity for the greatest contrast, which the public understands more clearly than any other issue.”

“The former president has given people an opportunity to understand more clearly what it means to them,” she added in the call reportedly set up by the Biden-Harris campaign.

“Healthcare is universal. It is in everybody’s financial and health interest. … When you say we’re going to take this away, it has a completely different effect,” the Democrat added.

“So this is part of an anti-government attitude that they have, but people have to know about it,” Pelosi said. “We don’t want to be fear mongers, but we have to make a contrast, and we have to have clarity about it. This is what it means to you. This is an assault, on you, your health, your financial security, and the health of America. It’s not just about healthcare. It’s about a healthier country.”

Biden also called out the former president and continued the fear-mongering by saying Trump “called for cuts that could rip away health insurance for tens of millions Americans and Medicaid.”

“They just don’t give up. But guess what? We won’t let these things happen,” he claimed.

Trump continued his responses on Truth Social, vowing that “America will have one of the best Healthcare Plans anywhere in the world.”
