On the two-year anniversary of President Joe Biden taking office, he tweeted that he had “never been more optimistic” about serving another two years in the White House and proceeded to get hammered on social media for it.
Twitter users dogpiled Biden for the Friday tweet, following two calamitous years in office that have seen scandal after scandal, failed policies, and catastrophic actions taken by the Biden administration.
“Two years in, and I’ve never been more optimistic about America’s future,” Biden tweeted on the two-year anniversary of his inauguration, a milestone that millions of Americans wish they could forget.
Needless to say, people took the opportunity to point out to the president that they do not share his “optimism” for the country.
Two years in, and I've never been more optimistic about America's future.

Well. That makes one of us.

Fuel prices rising AGAIN, food prices higher, energy prices keep going up, property taxes increased again! But yeah keep on lying to the people.

Others lined up to mock the “optimism”:
You have done more than enough to destroy this economy

That’s not much of an accomplishment when you set the bar low for 2 years.

Two years in to the disaster known as the Biden presidency, and I’ve never been more pessimistic about America’s future.

Biden remains deeply unpopular in the polls. His approval rating is still hovering around the lowest level of his presidency with only 40% approving of his performance, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll. Just about everyone else is wondering how it could be that high.
The president’s critics are slamming his failed handling of the economy, massive spending in Ukraine, the catastrophe at the border, attacks against the Second Amendment, and his latest boondoggle, the mishandling of classified documents. The list goes on and on, including gaffes, lying, and incidents that bring into question his mental acuity.
In the midst of Americans suffering due to the president’s actions, he’s evidently decided to take another run at the presidency in 2024. The president is 80 and is the oldest sitting president in history. The announcement is expected to come in February around the time of the State of the Union address.
Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris is listing the Biden administration’s top priorities for 2023, following a meeting at the White House Thursday with members of the Cabinet.
She is contending that they will focus on slashing inflation, implementing job growth, and growing the economy. No one actually believes any of that anymore given the raging inflation that continues to pummel Americans.
With the price of eggs spiking to more than $7 a dozen in some areas of the country, her goals seem disingenuous, to say the least.
The egg shortage is real. In California, the price has skyrocketed 550% from $1.34 to $7.37.

Harris sent out her own tweet that was thrashed for being just simply laughable.
“I’ve never been more optimistic about our future. Today, standing with [President Joe Biden] and other members of the Cabinet, we discussed our plan for 2023. Together we will deliver on lowering inflation, creating more jobs, and building an economy that works for everyone,” she hilariously wrote.

The only one with a worse track record in the last two years than Biden is arguably Harris. She has failed miserably at handling the border crisis. It appears to be a mix of incompetency and by design on her part. Her word salads are legendary and many contend her accomplishments as vice president are negligible.

A Fox News poll in August showed that a whopping 75% of Americans are “dissatisfied” with where the country is heading. Given the state of the country at the moment, that number is probably even higher now.
The unhappiness over Biden’s reign is shared by Republicans, Democrats, and Independents as large majorities rate the economy negatively, see no signs of recovery and are generally disillusioned with the way things are going in the country.
