Biden shredded over resurfaced ad saying ‘I’ll always answer a call from my grandchildren’

A 2020 campaign ad featuring Joe Biden bragging that he will “always answer a call from my grandchildren” resurfaced in the wake of a damning article by New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd which shamed the 80-year-old president for the “cold shoulder — and heart” he’s shown to the love child born out of wedlock as the result of an affair between his reprobate son Hunter and former stripper Lunden Roberts.

The column is titled, “It’s Seven Grandkids, Mr. President,” and Dowd wrote that it’s “unconscionable” that Biden refuses “to admit or accept the fact that there is a beautiful little 4-year-old girl living in Arkansas by the name of Navy Joan who is your seventh grandchild.”

The column comes after Biden ignored the child entirely earlier this year in saying he has six grandchildren.

“I’ve had a rule my entire life: No matter what’s happening, no matter how important the meeting, I’ll always answer a call from my grandchildren,” Biden said in the Oct. 2020 spot.

He was talking to one of his grandchildren in the clip, “I miss you too, angel. Okay, I’m heading home now. I’ll call you when I get back to Delaware. I love you baby, bye-bye.”

The president’s other six grandchildren are Naomi, 29, Finnegan, 22, Maisy, 21, Beau Jr., 2, Natalie, 18, and Robert “Hunter,” 16.

One social media user won the internet for the day when he replied to a tweet from Biden’s account pushing the ad: “Some restrictions may apply, offer not valid in the state of Arkansas.”

Here’s a sampling of other responses to the story, as seen on Twitter:
