As Americans line up to vote in the 2022 midterm elections, politicians are making their final pitches. Some are… definitely better than others.
Take Reverend Raphael Warnock, for example. He is currently fighting Herschel Walker to keep his US Senate seat in a race that has been watched closely across the nation. In his final appeal to voters was not a reminder of all of the good he has done, or a comparison of the two candidates’ records.
No, he begged for donations after tweeting the he “can’t have” Walker representing his mother.
And it didn’t go over very well:
C’mon folks, I can’t have Herschel Walker representing my mama.

Twitter jumped right into roasting mode, and let Warnock have it:
You and mama can always move. You’ll definitely have some time on your hands.

GP Maybe you shouldn’t have sucked so bad during your term that even your mama is thinking about voting for Herschel Walker. https://t.co/EfEMNwhZpk

You’d rather have a jackass representing her? https://t.co/zjx2dl79fx

Your Mama should be embarrassed her son ran over his ex-wife, preaches abortion is fine and taxpayers should pay for it from the pulpit, and was a slumlord. https://t.co/rcfzQYOkkQ

What about the ‘mamas’ you’ve evicted from your apartment complex, Reverend? The on over like $30? While your church pays you a non-taxable $7k in ‘housing expenses’ every month?

Why? He won’t evict her like you would. https://t.co/gJhCgbh3ms
