Bitter actor Mark Ruffalo dumps on Joe Rogan for being too late to criticize deportation

Podcaster Joe Rogan is displeased with President Donald Trump’s deportation efforts, but actor Mark Ruffalo says the criticism comes too late.

During Tuesday’s episode, Rogan called the scale of the efforts “nuts,” arguing that Trump’s administration is rounding up illegal aliens at places like “construction sites” and “Home Depot” rather than dangerous criminals.

Taking to social media site Threads, Ruffalo issued a firm rebuke of Rogan’s skepticism.

“Dear [Joe Rogan]. It’s a little late now to pretend like project 2025 didn’t exist and wasn’t the play book all along,” the actor wrote. “You are either not that smart or not that dumb. It’s hard to tell at this point.”

Rogan supported Trump and endorsed him as the end of the 2024 campaign season neared, but he has always leaned more toward the independent side of the political spectrum. However, it appears that this has not endeared the leftists back to him, as they blamed him for at least a portion of Trump’s electoral victory:
