The media is quick to throw around terms like “white supremacy,” but a Texas judge has her own ideas about which race is supreme.
U.S. District Judge Ada Brown, who is black, is facing a misconduct complaint after a lawyer claimed that she repeatedly directed racial insults at him, according to Bloomberg Law.
But the nature of these alleged insults depicts a troubling mindset for a person tasked with administering justice.
“I think what’s happening here, quite candidly, is you are very intimidated for some reason, Mr. Young, with black excellence, in light of your white mediocrity. Yeah. Right?” Brown said, after reportedly accusing the lawyer of mistreating black attorneys.
“I think what’s happening here, quite candidly, is you are very intimidated for some reason, Mr. Young, with Black excellence, in light of your White mediocrity. Yeah. Right?,” Brown said, adding that he looked White.
“I’m not White, Your Honor,” the lawyer said. He’s Latino.

“I’m not white, Your Honor,” the Latino lawyer said, before being accused of “white-presenting.”
“You’re the white savior, come to save all the stupid black lawyers in Texas who need your help, from New York,” the judge later said, according to transcripts.
It’s hard to imagine how any white person standing before Judge Brown could feel comfortable with her deciding their fate. And here’s a strange twist to an already strange story: Brown was appointed in 2019 by President Donald Trump.
Turns out, Brown has been temporarily suspended from hearing cases after a judicial investigation determined she likely suffers from a mental condition interfering with her ability to perform her job.
The 5th Circuit Judicial Council order released on October 19 said Brown had “abandoned her post as a federal judge” while stepping aside from numerous cases and inundating court staff and judges with “bizarre emails” and “racial insults,” Reuters reported.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
“Soon after, Young filed a formal complaint against Brown, saying he believed the judge may be suffering from a mental health condition.”
Ya think?

Even if he was white that is completely out of bounds
Should be removed form the bench

But imagine the only defence tot have against such a racist diatribe is to not be white.

Yeah she’s not insecure at all.

That she would even make that statement puts the lie to the idea of ‘black excellence’. Quite the opposite. That’s black mediocrity on full display. She must be related to Ketanji Brown Jackson.
