A Wisconsin brewery owner who had promised customers free beer once President Donald Trump dies has since had his permit revoked.
Kirk Bangstad, a radically far-left Wisconsin activist known for his “failed runs for public office and feuds with public officials,” owns the Minocqua Brewing Company, according to Newsweek.
On Jan. 22, his brewery published a post to Facebook offering “free beer, all day long, the day he dies.” While the post didn’t specify a person, everybody knew the brewery was talking about President Trump.

After the attempted murder of Trump at the original White House Correspondents Dinner in April, the brewery doubled down.
“Well we almost got #freebeerday,” the brewery wrote on Facebook. “Either a brother or sister in the Resistance needs to work on their marksmanship or he faked another assassination to get a positive news cycle.”

The second Facebook post prompted a visit from the FBI and Secret Service that Bangstad reportedly recorded.
“In the video, two agents ask Bangstad and his attorney a series of questions probing motivations behind a recent social media post Bangstad made following the assassination attempt,” according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “The agents asked whether Bangstad or anyone he knows intends to harm Trump or Vice President J.D. Vance or supports groups with that goal.”
“The agents on Thursday questioned Bangstad and his attorney, Frederick Melms, about the post’s reference to ‘a brother or sister in the Resistance’ and whether it was a ‘formal group.’ Melms said Bangstad meant ‘those who are opposed to the actions of the federal government’ and that it was not a reference to a ‘specific group,'” the reporting continued.
Months later, Bangstad and his hate-filled brewery are again being held accountable, this time by the Democrat-controlled Wisconsin government, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
According to a newsletter that Bangstad published on Sunday, he recently received a letter from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue revoking his brewery’s permit, Womp, womp.
Effective Aug. 4, the revocation comes a month after state officials seized all the canned beer from his brewery on the basis that he’d illegally transported the beer from Illinois without obtaining the proper permits and paying the required fees.
Bangstad, the sh*t-talking Trump hater who can be seen in the photos below, isn’t happy. In his newsletter, he called the upcoming revocation of his brewery’s license an “absurd act of heavy-handedness.”

“They’ll have to pry me out of my taprooms before I stop selling beer to thirsty progressives who come to visit us,” the lawbreaking “progressive” goon wrote, adding that he intends to fight “tooth and nail” against the government.
The Wisconsin Department of Revenue confirmed to the Sentinel that it specifically revoked the permit for two of the brewery’s locations, as well as the Alcohol Beverage Warehouse permit for a third location.
A spokesperson stressed that the department is “dedicated to the fair and consistent enforcement of alcohol beverages regulations in Wisconsin.”
“The division is required to follow and implement state law, including ensuring permit holders and licensees follow all applicable laws and regulations,” the spokesperson added. “The division takes appropriate actions when these laws are not followed.”
Bangstad is reportedly fighting back by asking for money.
“As usual, fighting to keep my business alive means I have to pay lawyers, and that’s never cheap,” he wrote in his newsletter. “Every time this [happens], I rack up $100K in legal bills before we even see a judge. If you can help chip in to the Minocqua Company’s legal defense fund, I’d really appreciate it.”
According to anonymous reports, Bangstad is a garbage human being who treats people like trash:
