California Rep. Eric Swalwell is serving up manufactured red meat for his gullible base, and as usual, they’re eager to feast.
Swalwell reposted a ridiculous video from “Progress Action Fund” depicting a woman being kidnapped off the street to be sent to an El Salvadorian prison by the Trump administration.
“She was born here!” a young man who appears to be generated by AI yells. “I don’t care,” a stoic “Republican man” who interestingly enough gives off Biden vibes responds. “She looks like one of them.”
“Trump’s America,” Swalwell wrote, with the video that spreads misinformation from beginning to end.

While Swalwell’s post garnered 4.9 million views and 30k likes (and counting), he also received a torrid amount of brutal backlash:
