Brooklyn man, 61, dies 5 days after being sucker punched in robbery caught on tape

A 61-year-old Brooklyn man has died after being robbed in broad daylight by two young black males. One of the criminals sucker-punched the man as he was walking along a sidewalk and when he fell to the ground unconscious, the same man then rifled through his pockets and removed whatever it was he discovered.

The victim, Victor Vega, was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died 5 days later — the attack took place on May 25 and Vega died on May 30, Fox 5 New York reported.

The vicious, cold-blooded assault was captured on video, which has been released by NYPD Crime Stoppers.

The smile says it all…

NYPD Crime Stoppers is asking anyone with information about the robbery to call its hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or submit tips via the Crime Stoppers website or on Twitter: @NYPDTips.

The disturbing attack comes amid a wave of crime, not only in New York City but in a number of Democrat-run cities across America. Cities where progressive district attorneys, many of them heavily backed by billionaire George Soros, instill destructive criminal justice reform policies that are soft on crime and put criminals before law-abiding citizens.

Just this week, San Francisco recalled radical left district attorney Chesa Boudin, the offspring of two Weather Underground terrorists, Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, who were convicted of felony murder in 1981 in connection with a heist of a Brinks armored vehicle in which two police officers and a guard were killed. He was then raised by former Weather Underground leaders Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

San Francisco is a wholly Democratic city, with just 6.7% of registered voters being Republican, so it seems that, ever so slowly, even Democrats eventually learn that elections have consequences.
