Businessman pistol whipped in broad daylight, robbed of Rolex in LA

Video footage of Israeli businessman Ronan Vered being robbed in Los Angeles in broad daylight serves as a reminder of just how unsafe Democrat-run municipalities can be in America.

The criminals, described as two black men, can be seen jumping out of a vehicle and attacking Vered as he stood in the doorway of his Fashion District store on East 12th Street. The thugs are very methodical in stripping Vered of his $50,000 Rolex, taking their time as they pistol-whip him into submission.

Spencer Pratt, who was robbed of a chance to challenge Democratic Mayor Karen Bass when mail-in ballots arriving after the election stripped him of a run-off opportunity, responded to the footage: “My buddy’s neighbor just got robbed and pistol-whipped in broad daylight in downtown LA. Look at how unbothered these animals are. No rush. No fear of getting arrested. Good luck, LA! Ain’t nobody coming to help you.”

It seems Pratt, who opted to run after losing his home in the January 2025 Palisades wildfire, would know.

Speaking of Mayor Bass, she was busy this week declaring “a homelessness state of emergency,” stating that “no Angeleno should be left to die on our streets.” Apparently local businessmen excluded, one may argue.

Homelessness has proven to be a cash cow for bleeding-heart liberals, with billions upon billions being spent across the country, only to see the population increase — Pratt noted as much in LA under Bass:

Perhaps Bass should consider declaring a state of emergency on her party’s soft-on-crime policies — here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
