For all the harm that diversity hire Pete Buttigieg has done at home as a result of his lack of qualifications for the critically important job of Transportation Secretary, he may have inflicted even more damage on the climate change doomsday cult’s case for radically transforming Western civilization, inadvertently undercutting the entire argument for urgent action with a few misguided words spoken at a globalist climate soiree.
Buttigieg, the former mayor of the smallish college town of South Bend, Indiana, has presided over an agency that in the course of his tenure has struggled to adequately react to a historic series of crises, including backlogged ports and supply chain disruptions, air traffic snafus that are reminiscent of a third world country, decaying infrastructure and a recent plague of railroad train derailments, not the least of which was the environmental catastrophe in East Palestine, Ohio where the town was poisoned by a hazardous chemical spill and subsequent “burn off” that sent plumes of poison into the local air, a disaster that has been likened to the 1986 Chornobyl nuclear plant catastrophe in the Soviet Union.

“Mayor Pete” who is adored by the media partly because he is openly gay, slipped up during a video speech to the Austrian World Summit, an annual gathering of climate hysterics in Vienna, letting the cat out the bag about what many have suggested is a massive scam and a fabulous opportunity for green grifters to cash in, admitting to the audience that humanity has ALWAYS worried about the climate, way back to the days before the demonized fossil fuel industry even existed.
“Hello, I’m U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and I want to thank the Austrian World Summit for inviting me to say a few words today. And I want to recognize all the leaders who are gathered here for your continuing commitment to addressing the global challenge of climate change,” the secretary said.
“It’s clear to all of us by now that climate change is a major threat to security and prosperity everywhere. Now, stories of climate disaster have always been on humanity’s mind in some fashion, dating back to ancient legends and scriptural traditions in nearly every faith, telling of floods, fires and other calamities,” Buttigieg added. “But the climate challenge in front of us is not some prophecy of cosmic doom. It is a specific set of problems.”
WHOOPS!
Twitter users reacted without mercy, ridiculing the hapless transportation chief as just another one of the overly “woke” bureaucratic buffoons that the Biden administration is chock full of, a veritable ship of fools who have charted a course of disaster for the country at a key juncture in history with the iceberg coming up fast.
Thereby undercutting the entire climate change argument. What a tool. https://t.co/7gCm00xCNC

So since the climate has been changing and causing disasters that far back it wouldn’t be an emergency then right? No need to steal our money and outlaw our stuff then.

Wait, I thought climate change was caused by coal plants.

Whether it’s cold or whether it’s hot, we’re going to have weather whether or not.

What the hell does that have to do with the Department of Transportation?

They should see how well he’s doing his job here in America, with “Climate change” as his top priority while our infrastructure fall’s apart, airlines’s having near disaster’s, train’s going off the tracks over at an astounding number and worse.

The ancient legends also told that we were 8 years away from a climate catastrophe.

Buttigieg is so highly thought of by the leftist media which seems to believe that by virtue of being a homosexual with a cabinet-level gig, he walks on water, and Wired just put out a lengthy profile of the loopy bureaucrat with the borderline satirical title, “Pete Buttigieg Loves God, Beer, and His Electric Mustang.” The glowing hagiography opens with the statement: “Sure, the US secretary of transportation has thoughts on building bridges. But infrastructure occupies just a sliver of his voluminous mind,” before going on for over 3,400 words worth of sanctimonious slop about the Democratic Party’s Renaissance man.

So over the top was the Wired article that one Twitter user mocked it as “Tiger Beat-level fan drivel,” while likening it to “North Korean State TV.”
In addition to being sought out by global climate change panels for his scientific wizardry, Buttigieg’s priorities include squandering millions of taxpayer dollars for female crash test dummies and even more money for his mission to revamp the country’s “racist” infrastructure while roads, highways, and bridges crumble and trains are literally falling off the tracks.
