California Sen. Scott Wiener advocates for isolating LGBTQ+ children from their parents

One California lawmaker showed himself to be “focused like a laser on children” as he stood against a school district’s rule regarding “transgender” students.

State Sen. Scott Wiener (D) hasn’t exactly shied away from criticism of his positions on the key issues of alphabet activists, and Friday he doubled down on the government superseding the rights of parents over their kids.

With a battle brewing over the Chino Valley Unified School District’s new policy requiring schools to notify parents if their child has adopted a new “gender identity,” the state lawmaker sided toward groomers with fervent hyperbole.

“Chino Valley’s forced outing policy is illegal under state law, as described in a letter to the School District by our Attorney General @RobBonta. Thank you, Attorney General Bonta, for standing with our community & with these at-risk kids,” began the senator after asserting, “Many LGBTQ kids don’t feel safe coming out to their parents. Now they have no choice.”

From there, he took umbrage with the previously reported happenings at the district’s board meeting where parents had voiced their concerns about protecting their children from government overreach. Additionally, Wiener decried the ejection of an activist politician while drumming up notions of conspiracy theories peddled by corporate media.

“California’s Superintendent of Public Instruction @TonyThurmond went to the school board meeting to stand with these students. The QAnon school board president cut him off, ejected him & accused him of trying to ‘pervert children,'” he wrote before going on to add, “Last night’s government overreach by the Chino Valley School Board pours lighter fluid on the risks to LGBTQ youth & particularly trans youth. It’s despicable, illegal & will not stand.”

That’s right, the lawmaker quite seriously referred to efforts supporting parental opposition to the state concealing information about their children as “government overreach.”

On top of that, Wiener’s language and outcry were notably similar to smears from corporate media aimed at portraying the film “Sound of Freedom” as a conspiracy, of which one propaganda hit piece was penned by an alleged pedophile proponent.

To that point, BlazeTV host Auron MacIntyre commented, “Separating children from their families, isolating them and making them emotionally dependent on strangers is textbook behavior for two groups: Child traffickers and cults.”

Fridays outrage followed Wiener’s actions from earlier this year when he defended legislation that he had coauthored aimed at removing parental rights by allowing children as young as 12 to seek emancipation.

“The professional person who is treating or counseling the minor shall state in the client record whether and when the person attempted to contact the minor’s parent or guardian, and whether the attempt to contact was successful or unsuccessful, or the reason why, in the professional person’s opinion, it would be inappropriate to contact the minor’s parent line or guardian,” read in part the bill that would allow the government to separate kids from their parents.

Wiener, who has posted TikTok videos of himself seeking to avoid the label “groomer” and riding public transit in high heels referring to himself as a “BARTbie” girl —

— didn’t appear to get the resounding support he may have expected for his radical views.
