Rosie, a California woman who hurriedly fled to Costa Rica because of President Donald Trump, now regrets leaving the country.
She expressed as much in a video posted to social media that’s since gone mega, mega, mega viral. In the video, Rosie urged others upset about President Trump’s administration to reconsider their desire to leave.
“If you’re an American who’s considering leaving the country to move somewhere else, make sure that the location you choose isn’t based off fear and lack mentality,” she said. “I regret moving to Costa Rica. It’s a beautiful country, I love the nature and wildlife. But moving to a third-world country where I don’t know the language, I don’t have any connections, resources, or opportunities — that didn’t make my life any easier by any means.”
“I was just so scared of what’s going on in America politically that I was in fight or flight. I was like how am I going to afford to survive, how am I going to find a place to live. I was freaking out, then I came here and made my life so much harder. And now I’m trying to go back, and I just like wish I didn’t leave in the first place. And it’s so weird to want to move to America right now with everything that’s going on, but I just left so many privileges and resources behind — and I want them back! It sucks,” she added.

She wasn’t wrong — trading in first-world privileges for third-world hell does indeed tend to “suck.”
Responding to her video, critics excoriated her not only over her bad decision-making but also her clearly bad politics.
“This woman will come back and vote Democrat,” one critic tweeted. “She’s smart enough to understand she doesn’t want to live in real poverty but she’s not smart enough to put two and two together and realize that Democrats are intent on creating the third world inside of the United States of America.”
“She should come back to tell all her friends just how great they have it and to stop complaining about how America is,” another critic wrote. “The problem with most people is they don’t know how much it sucks OUTSIDE of America because America is all they know. Let them travel and see.”

Liberal logic – wanting to move to a 3rd world country because you think America is terrible, but the new country of choice is trying to move to America to get out of their terrible country.

“Moving to a nation where I don’t know the language”.
Remember they called everyone racist for the expectation that if you come here & use our schools you should learn the language.

Stay the hell away it’s terrible here. My portfolio is up my job is secure. I have access to my guns cars and boat. I can drive across country and mostly avoid criminals unless I am in California Illinois or Washington state.

Complete Jump without a clue of total impact. She face planted but at least owns up to it. It’s her adult awakening that life isn’t room service for everyone that’s hilarious. She walked away from her US life and expected what exactly … a parallel universe? tiny violin

Rosie admitted later in her video that she grew up fairly wealthy and attended a private school, which wasn’t surprising. New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, a veritable communist, grew up similarly yet also turned into a leftist loon.
It’s as if something about growing up spoiled and privileged entices young Americans to become leftists when they grow up.
A new credibility problem for Democrat communist socialist Zohran Mamdani. Despite campaigning with a working class identity, Zohran comes from a very rich, affluent and well-connected family.
