Conservative firebrand Candace Owens had some thoughts on discrimination Monday in light of recent headlines and admitted, “I definitely discriminate against men that paint their nails and wear dresses.”
The left’s determination to ever evolve language, altering otherwise commonplace ideas and practices into watered-down versions or instilling them with unwarranted connotations, has undoubtedly made a lasting impact on society. Suggesting the word “discrimination” has become a “dirty word,” Owens reflected on how the wholly natural behavior has been twisted to manipulate people into accepting things they probably shouldn’t and that it needs a resurgence.
After noting how everyone discriminates when it comes to personal relationships, like choosing a mate, the commentator said, “I definitely discriminate against men that paint their nails and wear dresses.”
“I don’t really care how you feel about that. Wear your dress and you can paint your nails,” she clarified, “but I’d prefer you keeping 100 feet away from a playground and all of the feet away from my children and me. If I see you, I’m gonna cross the street if I’m with my kids.”
Mocking how detractors would tell her she needs to be more accepting, the podcast host offered, “I’m good. You can be more accepting of it. You run that risk when you see a guy who looks like a freak and you’re with your children and say ‘To be accepting I’m gonna put my kids next to him.'”
Later on, Owens noted how her comments tied directly into the recent firing of Sam Brinton, the now-former Deputy Assistant Secretary for Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy for President Joe Biden’s administration, who was alleged to have committed grand larceny after being accused of stealing the luggage of multiple individuals from airports.
“Terminal wokeness is what allowed this severely deranged individual to serve a position in government–and while serving in that position, to prey on an unsuspecting woman at an airport,” Owens wrote on Twitter Friday with an image of Brinton posing for a photo shoot. “Terminal wokeness ignores mental disorders and celebrates criminality.”

Suggesting if the government had used more discrimination when it came to hiring Brinton that the alleged thefts may never have happened, Owens stated, “I don’t want them in any positions of power. I don’t want to invest in that in any way, not even with my tax dollars.”
The same principle was applied to any individual seen at a playground without a child.
“Why are you at the playground by yourself? There’s no scenario where you should just be an adult at the playground by yourself; especially if you’re a male,” the host fired off.
“So, all of this to say is, obviously discrimination is built into us for a reason. It’s a survival mechanism, right? We want to survive and so, when we get the feeling–my mother used to refer to it as the heebie-jeebies–when someone just gives you the heebie-jeebies, even if you can’t quite put your finger on why,” she explained, “I think you need to lean into that and I actually think that society would be safer if we discriminated more.”
“What’s happening now is insanity because they’re telling us to accept everything,” Owens ultimately concluded.
