Canuck caught on video pleads guilty after attacking TSA agents in Miami

A layover in Florida ultimately resulted in a guilty plea for a Canadian man after he was charged with attacking two Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents.

Cameron Dylan McDougall, of Toronto, pleaded guilty earlier this month to two counts of assaulting, resisting or impeding federal officers, Fox News reported, citing court records.

The 28-year-old Canuck found himself facing federal charges over the incident, which took place in December 2024 at Miami International Airport.

Even worse, at least for McDougall, the violent outburst was captured on video.

McDougall allegedly struck a fellow passenger aboard a Copa Airlines flight traveling from Panama City to Toronto, forcing the pilot to divert the flight to Miami, according to Local 10 News.

After being removed from the plane, McDougall was allowed to purchase a ticket on Air Canada for the following day to reach his final destination, but he allegedly got into another altercation the next day when he randomly attacked a fellow passenger.

Court documents cited by WPLG Local 10 say McDougall had already cleared the TSA checkpoint when he struck the passenger without provocation. He also stuck a security guard who tried to intervene.

The video above captures McDougall returning to the screening area and swinging on a TSA supervisor. Another agent was then assaulted when he tried to restrain McDougall.
