Carville spits contempt at ‘white trash’ GOP in racially charged rant

The raw contempt that the Democratic Party cultural elite have for ordinary Americans has been well-established as conservatives are routinely sneered at and mocked by politicians, pundits and late-night television hosts, one of them being legendary political consultant James Carville who had harsh words for Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and her party in general.

The man credited for being the architect of Bill Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign, and the inventor of the famously effective bumper sticker slogan “It’s the economy stupid” that was instrumental in toppling popular President George H.W. Bush, appeared on MSNBC where he ridiculed the Georgia congresswoman for dressing like “white trash” and described the GOP as the party of “white trashdom” in another one of his nasty rants.

What truly rankled the 78-year-old Democrat operative was Greene’s audacity to call out President Joe Biden during Tuesday’s State of the Union address for his big lie that Republicans are determined to get rid of Social Security and Medicare, shouting “liar” at him as other Republican lawmakers loudly booed the divider in chief’s brazen dishonesty.

Carville gave his thoughts on the SOTU ruckus on Wednesday’s edition of “The Beat with Ari Melber” where he expressed his indignance about the GOP, a recurrent theme with the “Ragin’ Cajun” who has enjoyed a decades-long career as a pundit, milking his fame for putting the Clintons in the White House.

“Well, you know, I told people, I have a Ph.D. in White trashology, and you saw real white trash on display and let me say something about Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, she dresses like white trash. She really needs a fashion consultant. I recommend George Santos, he could do a good job of dressing up where she doesn’t announce her white trashdom by her own clothes,” he said.

Carville then doubled down on Biden’s fib about the new House GOP majority’s zeal to cut Social Security and Medicare despite Speaker Kevin McCarthy strongly emphasizing that slashing the programs would be off the table in negotiations over the debt ceiling.

“Well, first of all, their lust for cutting Social Security and Medicare is well documented. We know Newt Gingrich shut the government down and, of course, got defeated in the end. We know that George W. Bush tried to privatize Social Security and Medicare. We know when Paul Ryan was Speaker and John Boehner, they did everything they could to cut Social Security and Medicare. We know that that is their objective. I’ve heard today, the congressman from South Dakota, saying that we got to come together and make these cuts,” he said. “President Biden is 1000% right on this, and he’s right to press ahead, and I thought he had a great night last night.”

“It’s just – the level of white trashdom in the Republican Party is staggering. I mean, for somebody that has observed it for a long time like I have, I’ve never seen it manifest itself on a level that it’s manifesting itself,” Carville added.

Carville’s misogynistic descriptions of women who speak out against Democrat presidents as white trash was also seen with his infamous remarks about Paula Jones, the former Arkansas civil servant who sued Bill Clinton for sexual harassment.

“If you drag a $100 bill through a trailer park, you never know what you’ll find,” he once said of Jones.
