Veteran Democrat strategist James Carville reacted to a report of turmoil at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) by suggesting that none other than David Hogg could be the man to right the ship.
To say that current DNC boss Ken Martin has presided over a dumpster fire would be a monumental understatement, with a weekend New York Times report adding to the embattled chair’s woes at the financially-strapped DNC, where he finds himself “increasingly isolated, gripped by the fear that he will lose his job and relying on a vanishingly small circle of people he trusts.”
Carville has the perfect remedy to the DNC’s woes, which includes bringing back Hogg to calm things down.

The youthful gun control activist previously served as the organization’s vice chair, but his outspoken, abrasive style and willingness to criticize the party establishment rankled insiders, and he was ousted last year after a vote to redo the election that he previously won, citing diversity issues as the official reason.
The bedridden party elder suggested a second helping of Hogg might be in order in a short Sunday YouTube video, adding his two cents to the discussion about the DNC while he recovers from surgery.
“I did want to, like, Sunday afternoon, or whenever, weigh in on two stories I saw,” the “Ragin’ Cajun said. “And one…was a story on the DNC that basically said it’s dysfunctional. It’s just difficult to do anything with it, and it’s all true.”
“And at the end of the day, who cares?” Carville added. “I mean, maybe they want to try to get themselves together; some of them are lovely people…there’s Ken Martin. Maybe they ought to figure out, maybe they could be somewhat relevant. I have no idea.”
“If David Hogg wants to take it over, then, I ain’t stopping you, go ahead, man,” he said. “I don’t really care, and I don’t think at the end of the day, well, it might be fine people; I know some of them are not particularly determined.”
According to The New York Times report, which is based on interviews with over two dozen Dems including ex-DNC officials, Martin is paranoid and as unstable as a wet stick of dynamite.

“Mr. Martin’s fraying nerves are showing. In a pique of frustration in early July, he threw his phone at the desk of a junior aide while upbraiding the person. The phone-tossing incident resulted in a formal complaint to the D.N.C.’s human resources department,” the paper reported.
“Mr. Martin later met with D.N.C. human resources officials about his behavior, according to three of the people,” the report stated. “The Democratic National Committee declined to comment on the incident.”
“So as you’re accumulating your news over the weekend, have a little fun, read the DNC story about he threw, I don’t know, a salt shaker, I don’t know, threw something at a desk,” Carville said of the NYT report. “Oh, God forbid that would ever happen.”
The wisdom of the Democrat Yoda may not go over well with the party bosses, especially since Hogg is down with the rising tide of democratic socialism that threatens to sweep away incumbents and is scaring the devil out of the establishment.

Carville has previously expressed his own disdain for the young socialists like New York City primary winner Darializa Avila Chevalier, lamenting the party’s hard-left turn which is at least partially fueled by antipathy for Israel.
“I’m not in that f**king political party. I am totally comfortable in a political party that spends time questioning the policies of the government of Israel. In fact, I’m enthusiastic about that. I don’t want to be in a political party that denies the right of the state of Israel to exist. That’s just not– I just can’t do that,” he said on his podcast last month.
