Casey DeSantis’ ‘Mamas for DeSantis’ video goes viral as she declares ‘our children’ are ‘not yours’

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ wife Casey DeSantis is taking her husband’s anti-groomer message mainstream as he campaigns for the presidency in a new viral video titled “Mamas for DeSantis” that defends parents and children’s rights, telling radical leftists “our children” are “not yours.”

“In America, we’ve witnessed a lot and put up with enough,” Florida’s first lady declared in the video as images of transgender athletes and children playing with a man in BDSM equipment flashed onscreen. “We’ve been told that we must deny truth, back down, and look the other way.”

“Enough is enough. When you come after our kids, we fight back because there’s nothing we won’t do to protect our children. They’re not yours,” Casey DeSantis declared following a viral clip of a group of Pride attendees chanting, “We’re coming for your children!”

Her proclamation was in reference to President Biden saying in a video marking LGBTQ Pride Month, “These are our kids. These are our neighbors. Not somebody else’s kids; they’re all our kids.”

We will not allow you to exploit their innocence to advance your agenda. We are no longer silent. We are united and we have finally found our fighter,” she continued, referring to her husband, Ron DeSantis.

“He’ll do for America what he did for us in Florida. Schools, open. Parents’ rights, defended. School choice, universal. Critical Race Theory, prohibited. DEI, stopped. Child mutilation, illegal. Girls sports, saved. Communities, protected. Our economy, growing. And freedom, guaranteed,” Casey DeSantis vowed.

“But winning the fight in Florida is just the beginning. We must protect parents’ rights and the innocence of our children. We must restore sanity in our society. We need every mama and every grandmama in every corner of the country to stand up and fight back by electing Ron DeSantis president of the United States of America,” she urged.

A page for “Mamas for DeSantis” on the DeSantis campaign website says that it “is bringing together millions of fired-up mamas ready to stand up for their children’s futures and put an end to the woke mob’s hostile takeover of the lives of parents, children, and families across the nation.”

In an appearance in Iowa on Thursday while launching “Mamas for DeSantis,” Casey DeSantis commented that her “claws come out” when government policies get between her and her children, according to the New York Post.

“It’s one thing when your policies come out after us – the mamas. It’s another thing when they come after our children. And that’s when the claws come out,” DeSantis said, sitting with Republican Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds inside a packed barn in Johnston, Iowa.

“It was COVID that was really what led to a lot of this parental empowerment revolution because for the first time, parents were peering into the classroom, and they did not like what was being taught, they saw – the sexualized curriculum being thrust in front of five-year-olds,” DeSantis asserted.

She contended that her husband’s track record on parental rights in Florida proves he is the best GOP presidential candidate for voters who prioritize education issues and the safety of children.

“A lot of bad things going on,” she said. “I can tell you with what Governor DeSantis has done, he will lead the charge, he will clean house and he will ensure that parents have the right to be able to make the decisions that they think best for their family.”

Casey DeSantis then gave a ringing endorsement of her husband as he runs for the GOP presidential nomination in 2024.

“They’re not doing the woke Olympics, by the way in the state of Florida, there’s no discrimination if you use the wrong pronoun,” The 43-year-old former TV news journalist, breast cancer survivor, and mother of three noted. “As long as I have breath in my body I will fight for Ron DeSantis – not just because he’s my husband; that is part of it – but it’s because I believe in him.”
