Casey DeSantis rocks house with slight about POTUS kids bringing homework into WH ‘instead of cocaine’

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ wife, Casey, rocked the house at the Florida Freedom Summit this Saturday, inspiring massive applause for her comments about both herself and President Joe Biden and his scandalous family.

A viral clip from the event showed her first responding to accusations from critics that she’s the “Walmart Melania.”

Listen:

“I was like AWESOME. Like, that’s the greatest thing you could call me. For me to be in the sentence as Melania is a wonderful thing — she’s gorgeous. That’s great. I love it. Score,” she said.

“And then also, yes, guilty as charged, I shop at Walmart. I have a six-, five-, and three- year old. Do you know how quickly they grow out of these clothes? I need $2 t-shirts, and especially with Bideninflation and Bidenomics. Everything is getting more expensive,” she continued.

After broaching Bideninflation and Bidenomics, she then delivered an uppercut directed at the Biden family.

And, you know, I have to say, speaking of Joe Biden, how nice would it be, by the way, to have a president of the United States, to have their kids bring home homework to the White House instead of cocaine. Okay? You know?” she said to massive applause.

The applause and praise continued online:

Her husband, a 2024 GOP presidential candidate, also rocked the house, especially when he listed all of his accomplishments as governor.

He noted, for example, that he’s expanded Second Amendment rights, cut taxes, run budget surpluses, paid down the state’s debt, and transformed “the most liberal state Supreme Court in the country” into the most conservative state Supreme Court.

“We prohibited the purchase of land by the Communist Chinese Party and its affiliates in our state. We signed the Heartbeat Protection Act. We kneecapped so-called ESG. Environmental social governance [is] not allowed in our pensions. We took $2 billion away from Blackrock, who was managing it in the pension. We banned social credit scores in the state of Florida. And we’ve banned the use of central bank digital currency — one of the first states to do that,” he continued.

“When we had the BLM riots of the summer of 2020, we called out the National Guard and we then enacted anti-riot legislation prohibiting local governments from defunding the police and making sure that people who riot and loot and engage in mob violence end up in the slammer where they belong. We even enacted the death penalty for pedophiles, and that’s what should happen. And we’ve done so much more,” he added.

However, there’s one catch to all this: DeSantis’ chief rival in the 2024 race, former President Donald Trump, ALSO rocked the house at the Florida Freedom Summit. Indeed, according to NBC News, he outright “dominated” at the event.

“I think I am going to go with Trump for numerous reasons, but I think the biggest one is I want to see him have four years of uninterrupted progress on the agenda, where he doesn’t have to worry about getting re-elected,” Samantha Murchie, a 52-year-old attendee, told the outlet.

According to NBC News, this sentiment “rang through the convention hall throughout the day, up to the moment Trump took the stage around 6:30 p.m. for his keynote address.”

“Exactly one year from tomorrow….you will vote in the most important election in the history of our country. We are going to finish the job we started,” the former president said as he took the stage and chants of “we love Trump” were heard.

Meanwhile, a number of other 2024 GOP presidential hopefuls were booed for daring to utter Trump’s name in a negative light.

“Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, whose presidential campaign is hovering around 1%, was the first speaker and was booed and jeered after saying he thought there is a ‘significant likelihood’ that Trump would be found guilty of some of the 91 felony charges he faces in four different places,” NBC News notes.

“A short time later, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who has built a reputation as one of Trump’s biggest Republican antagonists, was also booed from the start of his speech.”
