CBS blurs face of man accused of murdering left-wing activist: Listen to how reporters talk to the suspect…

Not only is there a two-tiered system of justice in America today, there’s also a double standard at play when it comes to race and people are taking notice.

A suspect was arrested Thursday for the murder of a 32-year-old liberal activist in New York, which was captured on surveillance video that took the internet by storm. Bryan Dowling, an 18-year-old black man from Brooklyn, was charged with second-degree murder and criminal weapons possession, according to the NYPD.

Police found the dark shirt Dowling was seen wearing in the video, along with a knife that is suspected of being the murder weapon while searching his home, and reporters were on hand when the suspect was led out of the dwelling. Interestingly, CBS News New York opted to blur his image while reporting on the story, explaining that they were doing so because “charges are pending.”

Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, shared this footage while asking: “Would CBS blur the assailant’s face if he were white?”

Turns out, Kirk cut to the chase to answer his question by juxtaposing a screen grab of CBS blurring out Dowling’s face with an image from the affiliate reporting on former U.S. Marine Daniel Penny that was not blurred out — Penny was arrested after subduing a violent homeless man terrorizing straphangers on a New York subway after that man died.

Here is an unobstructed view of Dowling being led to a police vehicle that captured some of the questions reporters were calling out.

“Brian, what did he do to you?” a male reporter is heard asking, while a female asks, “Brian, why did you do it?”

The murder suspect can be seen in a close-up shedding tears — a display of emotion that his victim Ryan Carson will never know again.

Another strange occurrence in this story, as noted by independent journalist Andy Ngô, is that Carson’s girlfriend, Claudia Morales, 32, was rumored to be uncooperative in the early stages of the investigation.

For what it’s worth, there is an image of Morales wearing an ACAB t-shirt during the height of the Black Lives Matter assault on America in 2020 — ACAB stands for “All Cops are Bastards.”
