Chicago’s racist mayor threatens riots over Trump Windy City crime crackdown

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is digging in to resist any effort by President Donald J. Trump to deploy the National Guard to his crime-ridden city and now seems to be actively encouraging riots and civil unrest.

Trump’s crackdown on violent crime has been so successful in Washington, D.C. that he is ready to expand it to other Democrat-run cities where officials and Soros-backed prosecutors have allowed criminals to rule the streets. During a Friday White House press conference, he told reporters that the Windy City is next on the list.

The president’s effort to do the job that they refuse to do has drawn furious responses from Johnson and Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, and Hizzoner walked a thin line between protest and inciting outright anarchy during an appearance on MSNBC’s “The Weekend.”

“So look, we’re gonna remain firm, we’ll take legal action, but the people of this city are accustomed to rising up against tyranny,” Johnson proclaimed. “And if that’s necessary, I believe that the people of Chicago will stand firm alongside of me as I work every single day to protect the people of this city.”

In a post to X, Johnson also claimed that Trump’s proposal to make Chicago safe again “would be the most flagrant violation of our Constitution in the 21st Century,” sharing a link to his MSNBC appearance.

“Chicago’s a mess. You have an incompetent mayor. Grossly incompetent, and we’ll straighten that one out probably next, that will be our next one after this,” Trump told the press on Friday. “And it won’t even be tough.”

“We won’t speculate on further operations. The Department is a planning organization and is continuously… working with other agency partners on plans to protect federal assets and personnel,” a Pentagon spokesperson told ABC News of the potential deployment of the National Guard to Johnson’s turf.

Since he was elected, Mayor Johnson has regularly engaged in race-baiting and expressing anti-white sentiment, both in his policies and his rhetoric, recently saying that Trump has “always been intimidated by the intellectual prowess of black men.”
