Chuck Schumer threatens to complain to FCC about President Trump’s 60 Minutes interview

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-New York, kicked around the idea of complaining to the FCC about President Donald Trump’s 60 Minutes interview.

Trump sat down for an interview with the program, and the results have the leftist contingent in a tizzy. Almost immediately, people on social media began trying to compare it to the disaster interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris. At the time, Trump accused the network of favorably editing the interview, which triggered a legal dispute.

Now, leftists on X are trying to equate the two things:

Even Schumer got in on it, snidely remarking that he might contact the FCC with a complaint:

“Maybe I should file a complaint with the FCC against the Trump White House for editing his unhinged 60 Minutes interview. It will use the exact same language Trump lodged against Vice President Harris,” the senator said, making it clear that he’s only considering it as a revenge tactic and not a good-faith report.

Unfortunately for Schumer, the Trump administration’s interest in media transparency won the day, and the full interview had been released on X for those interested in watching:

X users dogpiled him in response:
