Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, turned her foul mouth to the Supreme Court for upholding a redistricting decision that pushed her out.
In a 50-minute video posted to YouTube, the lawmaker ranted about President Donald Trump and specifically focused on what she claims is an effort by the GOP to “rig the system” before the 2026 midterm election. To this end, she pointed to the redistricting efforts in Texas, which were temporarily upheld by the Supreme Court. Other efforts, pushed by Trump, were rejected by states like Indiana.
Watch the full video:
“Obviously, Trump is still doing his bidding with these state Houses and state Senates and governor’s mansions to try to rig the system. Kudos to Indiana for saying f**k you. Kudos to California for saying we’re going to fight back,” she said. “Definitely kudos to the Trump justice who wrote the 160-page opinion denouncing what took place in Texas and f**k you to the Supreme Court for what they did as well as, you know, we’ll see what happens in some other places.”
She also pushed for SCOTUS reforms such as packing the court and imposing term limits, and claimed that some of the current Justices are residing in “illegitimately gotten” seats.
“I just feel like there are certain spots on the Supreme Court that were illegitimately gotten for sure. So, I think if we’re going to shore up our democracy, we have to first start by shoring up the checks and balances. And so, that starts with the Supreme Court.”
Crockett has launched a bid for the Senate in Texas, likely driven, at least in part, by the fact that she was moved out of her district when the maps were redrawn.
Meanwhile, California Governor Gavin Newsom has decided to fight fire with fire and is pushing a ballot initiative that would add five more districts. It is anticipated that these new districts would lean Democrat, further cementing California’s status as a deep-blue state.

Just the kind of person I absolutely does not need to be leading, voting for, or anything to do with helping our country be what it is supposed to be. There are two kinds of people in the world…those that want to build for others and those that want to build for them.
