‘Clear up this mess’: Trump demands companies justify the success of their COVID drugs

President Donald Trump on Monday demanded that the big pharmaceutical giants “justify” the success of their COVID vaccines.

“It is very important that the Drug Companies justify the success of their various COVID Drugs,” he wrote in a post published to Truth Social.

“Many people think they are a miracle that saved Millions of lives. Others disagree! With CDC being ripped apart over this question, I want the answer, and I want it NOW,” he continued.

Trump also called for COVID vaccine manufacturers to publicly release all the data about their shots so that the public can see and review it for themselves.

He argued that their ongoing lack of disclosure has made life harder for Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK).

“I have been shown information from Pfizer, and others, that is extraordinary, but they never seem to show those results to the public,” he wrote. “Why not???”

“They go off to the next ‘hunt’ and let everyone rip themselves apart, including Bobby Kennedy Jr. and CDC, trying to figure out the success or failure of the Drug Companies’ Covid work,” he added.

Trump also took a shot at Operation Warp Speed.

“I hope OPERATION WARP SPEED was as ‘BRILLIANT’ as many say it was,” he wrote. “If not, we all want to know about it, and why??? Thank you for your attention to this very important matter! President DJT”

His words found support from Sen. Bill Cassidy:

His remarks also attracted positive attention from Mary Holland, the CEO of Children’s Health Defense (CHD), who said that Trump’s remarks may “portend a greater truth-telling about these products.”

“CHD believes the COVID-19 injections should be removed from the marketplace, given their record of danger and ineffectiveness,” she continued. “In reality, they are novel gene therapies, not vaccines. Peer-reviewed science has shown that they have caused excess mortality and disability since their introduction.”

Meanwhile, internal medicine physician Dr. Clayton J. Baker praised Trump for finally admitting that Operation Warp Speed may not have been as wonderful as he’d originally made it out to be.

“His comments indicate that he no longer has confidence in the information he has been getting from drug companies on the COVID shots,” Baker said. “He indicates that Pharma has not been forthcoming and transparent with their data with respect to the public.”

Baker added that Trump’s words “leave the door wide open for a complete and total re-evaluation of the legitimacy of Operation Warp Speed, the COVID-19 shots, and effectively, the whole COVID-19 response.”

Trump’s fierce criticism came weeks after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) launched a study group to examine COVID vaccine injuries.

The COVID-19 Immunization Workgroup will examine “vaccine-related injuries, deaths, hospitalizations, disabilities, and the effects of repeated booster doses,” according to investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson.

Operating under the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), the study group will also scrutinize the risks that the coronavirus vaccine poses to pregnant women, who, like many others, were also coerced into taking the vaccine during the COVID pandemic.

According to Attkisson, who penned her report last week, the study group will also “explore potential contamination in the vaccines, including high levels of plasmid DNA, and assess how long materials such as spike protein and mRNA may remain in the body.”

The study group will be chaired by Dr. Retsef Levi, who has vowed to be as transparent as possible.

“We need to be fully transparent about what we know, and what we don’t, and unfortunately, that was not always practiced consistently in the past,” he told investigative journalist Maryanne Demasi in an interview.

“My intention is to be part of changing that,” he added.
