CNN justifies Biden snubbing Fox for traditional SB interview: ‘You have extremists, people like Tucker Carlson’

In another of the divisive and undignified snits that have marked the lamentable tenure of the nation’s top Democratic party politician, President Joe Biden is snubbing Fox by declining to participate in the traditional pregame presidential interview carried by whichever network hosts the Super Bowl and nobody is happier than the political hacks masquerading as journalists at CNN.

By ducking a sit-down with one of the Fox News anchors who would likely be less inclined to serve up softballs to the deeply unpopular leader in a time of national crisis, Biden not only gets to avoid more of the embarrassing gaffes that have dogged him, but also to position himself as a hero with his party’s base who are reveling in the high-profile rejection of the conservative outlet.

One of those spiking the ball was Oliver Darcy, the senior media reporter for the self-proclaimed “most trusted name in news” who appeared on Saturday’s edition of “CNN Newsroom With Jim Acosta” to break down Biden’s stiff-arming of Fox, using the opportunity to falsely portray his employer’s top competitor as a haven for right-wing extremists.

“I think this really underscores the level of commitment that Biden has showed to icing out Fox,” Darcy said, gloating, “As you said, he hasn’t granted this right-wing talk channel any interviews since he’s been president, and you can imagine why.”

“I mean, If you watch this channel, it’s very clear there’s a strong an animus toward him, toward his administration, and at nighttime, you have extremists, people like Tucker Carlson who are going on these rants, who are spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories about things from the vaccines to January 6th, and so I think for this president, he has decided he’s not going to call out the channel, he’s not going to go to war with it that way, but not going to give it any credence by appearing on.”

“That’s true, and I mean one of the things you have to think about is whether or not you know this battle is worth it, I mean, a lot of people just want to watch football,” Acosta added without a hint of irony about the endless sermonizing and virtue signaling for the political left’s agenda and the Black Lives Matter slogans painted in NFL end zones that fans are subjected to every time that they tune in for a game just hoping to watch a little football instead of being mentally bludgeoned with “woke” propaganda.

Noting that by snubbing Fox that Biden is turning down a chance to make the case for his policies before what is traditionally the largest television audience in any given year, Darcy said, “I think his administration, he has decided that he just doesn’t want to — he just does not want to appear on this channel that is really profits off of spreading misinformation and lies about his administration,” failing to inform viewers that his own network is widely recognized as the greatest purveyor of misinformation in America.

The regime and its stooges are spinning it as Fox spurning Biden who agreed to be interviewed by Fox Soul, the network’s little-know streaming digital targeting black audiences where he would almost certainly engage in more of the bashing and shaming of white people that have marked his two years in office, a cynical bit of political calculus that has been the bread and butter for the geriatric career politician who is expected to soon announce his reelection bid.

“The President was looking forward to an interview with Fox Soul to discuss the Super Bowl, the State of the Union, and critical issues impacting the everyday lives of Black Americans. We’ve been informed that Fox Corp has asked for the interview to be cancelled,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tweeted on Friday.

On Friday, Darcy expressed displeasure over the White House playing what he characterized as a “silly game” for not coming out and announcing that the interview would not take place due to the on-air “extremists” at Fox News.

“I don’t understand why the White House is playing this game. Of course Fox Corp is not going to let them bypass Fox News for an interview with Fox Soul, a small streaming operation with a tiny audience. Why not just say that they’re declining the Fox News interview & outline why?” Darcy wrote on Twitter.

“Anyway, the story here is that the White House is apparently snubbing Fox News for a pre-Super Bowl interview, as Biden continues to ice out the right-wing channel and decline requests for sit downs,” he added.

In another tweet, CNN’s house media nebbish specifically mentioned Carlson, one of the left’s biggest boogeymen.

“I’d also note: It seems the Biden WH could make an easy case to the public about why he’s not sitting down with a channel that employs extremists like Tucker Carlson who launch vicious attacks on him & his admin/family. But instead they’ve decided to play a rather silly game,” he said.

Fox will air the NFL title tilt between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles at 6:30 pm ET on Sunday.
