Cocky James Carville says he’d run a ‘convicted pedophile’ against Republicans

Democrat strategist James Carville had some interesting comments following his party’s big win on election night Tuesday.

Carville tends to say whatever is on his mind, with little attention to the possible backlash or repercussions of his statements. While there is something admirable about being unabashed in your beliefs, sometimes it is wise to employ the use of a mental filter.

In his latest comments, he said that he is “personally going to find a convicted pedophile and run him in a race” against a Republican, just to see if the pedophile could win:

“I’m personally going to find a convicted pedophile and run him in a race just to see if he could beat a Republican. I’m not sure. I’m not going to say a convicted pedophile could win. And by the way, the guy who was running against him ran a pretty good campaign.”

These statements come after the shocking win of Jay Jones in Virginia, whose violent texts aimed at his GOP colleagues shocked his Attorney General race. Despite calling the children of Republican Todd Gilbert and his wife “fascists,” the left still voted to put Jones into office. At this point, Carville might be right; there are very few things that would disqualify a Democrat candidate in the eyes of leftist voters.

“I’m gonna give you all the most interesting piece of news of this cycle, even more interesting than Bucks County. The Republican legislator who released the text, lost, exactly,” continued Carville. “You got some baggage out there with Trump people.”

Later in the podcast, he predicted that a Democrat is going to take the White House in 2028, when President Donald Trump’s second term is up.

“I’m going to tell you what’s going to happen. A Democrat is going to be elected in 2028. You know that. I know that. The Democratic president is going to announce a special transition advisory committee on the reform of the Supreme Court,” he said. “They’re going to recommend that the number of Supreme Court justices go from nine to 13. That’s going to happen, people. That’s going to happen to you. They’re going to win. They’re going to do some blue ribbon panel of distinguished jurists, and they’re going to recommend 13, and a Democratic Senate and House is going to pass it, and the Democratic president is going to sign it, because they have to do an intervention so we can have a Supreme Court that the American people trust again.”
