Cold-blooded migrant murder suspect on ICE hold accused luring teen into death trap

An 18-year-old illegal alien who’s being held on an immigration detainer has been accused of luring a 15-year-old Missouri boy to his death.

The story begins early on March 12, when a girl identified only as J1 picked up victim Miles Young, 15, according to the Springfield Daily Citizen. Young was under the belief that he’d be having sex with J1.

But it was a trap.

Prior to Miles being picked up, illegal alien Yefry Archaga, 18, had been driving around with J1 and Praize King, 18, discussing “setting up” Young. Why? Allegedly because J1 “blamed Miles for the death of the victim in a 2025 homicide case,” according to police investigators.

The three were also joined by two witnesses identified as W3 and W4. All five at one point drove to an apartment complex to retrieve a second vehicle owned by King’s sister. Four of them remained in the first vehicle while J1 jumped into the second vehicle.

J1 then proceeded to pick up the victim, White, who was reportedly at a home with another witness identified as W1, while on Facetime with yet another witness identified as W2.

Both W1 and W2 reportedly warned Young not to go with J1 because they “felt it was a ‘set up’ as J1 had previously mentioned J1 disliked Miles,” but Young went anyway.

J1 then drove to a nearby road where she was suddenly blocked by the first car with Archaga, at which point Young jumped out of the second vehicle and started running, only to be chased by Archaga and King. Note that Young was still Facetiming with W2 when all this occurred.

“W2 remained on the phone with Miles and described hearing Miles fall to the ground or drop his phone,” according to investigators. “W2 hears a gunshot, followed by Miles stating, ‘I just don’t wanna die.’ W2 then heard the sound of two more gunshots.”

All five then scattered from the scene. Young’s body was found shortly thereafter thanks to W1.

“W1 owns the cellphone Young was using at the time of the shooting,” according to the Daily Citizen. “W1 used the ‘Find My’ application to locate the phone. … W1 eventually found the phone on the side of 3804 W. Maplewood St. W1 then saw Young lying in the driveway with a ‘substantial amount’ of blood on him.”

“W1 called 911. EMS arrived and provided life-saving efforts to Young before transporting him to Cox South Hospital, where Young was pronounced dead,” the station reported.

King and Archaga have since been arrested and remain in jail without bond, though it’s not clear which one pulled the trigger. Both face a Class A felony for first-degree murder and armed criminal action.

It’s also not clear what happened to J1, the juvenile female who, it appears, was the mastermind of White’s murder.

Archaga has also had an immigration detainer placed on him.

White’s family is not holding up well in the wake of his murder.

“Miles was a compassionate, loving, and kind 15-year-old who brought light to everyone around him,” his family wrote in a statement obtained by Fox News. “He was a big brother, a son, a grandson, and a friend… full of life and always showed care for others. No parent should ever have to outlive and bury their child.”

Archaga is reportedly also a suspect in a separate firearms assault case, as well as a reported member of the 1300 gang.

“Defendant planned and set up a 15-year-old boy to be murdered,” prosecutors reportedly wrote when seeking a warrant for him. “Defendant ambushed victim, chased victim on foot, and victim was shot as victim was stating he wanted to live. Defendant ran from the scene, and reportedly fled from the area to avoid apprehension.”
