Colorado woman in blackface runs amok in Target, Starbucks after allegedly being fired from USPS

A Colorado woman, who was allegedly axed by USPS, strolled into Target in blackface, demanding to know where the store’s Pride section was, and then posted her tirade on Facebook for all to see.

Ersilia Campbell, who is white, visited the Target store in Aurora, Colorado, and reportedly demanded that an employee direct her to the Pride display. She was then informed that Pride month was over before she headed to Starbucks. She allegedly railed that the LGBT community had hijacked the American flag forever and then walked away from astonished customers at the counter.

As she got her drink at Starbucks, Campbell videoed herself for a post while carping about being fired from the post office. According to TMZ, Campbell got the boot at her post office job back in February.

The USPS location where she previously worked issued a trespassing warning against her on Tuesday that warned former colleagues to call the police and the US Postal Inspection Service if she was seen on the premises.

Campbell posted the notice on her Facebook page. She reportedly called employees at the post office “some of the loneliest, miserable, trashiest, lazy people in my life.”

The bizarre exchange at Target was videoed by gobsmacked customers and made its way to social media where it went viral. In the footage, someone called Campbell a horrible person, to which she responded, “You’re a horrible person.”

“You’re literally doing blackface in the middle of the store,” an employee behind a counter told her.

“Lester Holt did whiteface and nobody said s***,” Campbell responded justifying her appearance, evidently referring to the news anchor dressing up as Scottish singer Susan Boyle for Halloween over ten years ago.

Then she shouted at the employee, “Where’s your Pride section? I need to know!” before being told that Pride month had ended.

“I thought they were celebrating this and they took our flag forever. No? I was wrong my bad,” Campbell commented. “I don’t shop at Target, I just take pictures.”

She then told the person recording the spectacle to post the video to her Facebook page, insisting that her friends “love it.”

“That’s the craziest thing I’ve seen in my whole life,” the person shooting the video says before the recording stops.

Campbell recorded herself at Starbucks pointing to Trump stickers she was wearing on her t-shirt.

“Hey Facebook, I’m looking for a job today,” she remarked. “I am at Starbucks, I never treat myself to Starbucks since the post office got rid of me. I barely treated myself to Starbucks when I was working there, I couldn’t afford it.”

She then showed off the Trump stickers strategically placed on her breasts and declared, “Trump is coming … I’m showing my t***ies.”

“Wish me luck, I am going to the post office for a job,” Campbell announced. “They will never recognize my picture now. You can put me on the FBI wanted list.”

In one video posted to her now-locked Facebook account, Campbell asserted that wearing blackface was a way to secure future employment.

“I need to fish out some other people, so I’m gonna go smoke them out today, but I thought I’d wear blackface so that when I’m done smoking them out, and the FBI or whoever the f*ck needs to show up and listen to me for once. When they show up, I want to get a job, so I’m gonna make sure I put on a blackface so I can have my best chance at getting a job,” she reportedly wrote, according to the Advocate.

TMZ reported, “The Aurora PD tells TMZ Ersilia Campbell was taken into protective custody — which usually means someone is unable to take care of themselves.”

Most people thought the outrage over Campbell pulling her stunt was overblown with many finding it hilarious:
